Pros:

This property is quite central, without being in the city center which is very busy and less safe in times of COVID-19. The personnel here takes very good safety precautions and gives a lot of personal attention to guests. The hotel rooms are individual suites which are large, clean and functional with safe, fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable.
The staff attention is individualized and detailed. Though the hotel does not have food service, it offers light morning snack.

Oasis in the heart of Tapachila
Pros:

We stayed at Los Arcos while driving from Chicago to Nicaragua. Los Arcos is right near the Talisman crossing to Guatemala. The staff were extremely accommodating as we were traveling with a dog (who thinks he is human) and also needed secure parking because our car was loaded with stuff. The hotel has beautifully landscaped gardens and even a Marimba player..Our dog-accommodated suite was very clean and the bed comfortable. AC worked as well! This hotel is a great value!!!! The great surprise is that the family-owned restaurant next door is fabulous -- check out the omelet with Flor de Calabaza.:)

Customer Service Plus
Pros:

Stayed at Los Arcos on our way to Guatemala. Our plan was to leave our vehicle in Mexico and get a (bus) shuttle into Guatemala - our destination being Panajachel (Lake Atitlan). When we asked about bus shuttles and secure parking, Isabel Villers Aispuro, took care of all our concerns by calling a local travel agency and arranging for a car to take us right from the hotel, across the Guatemalan border and directly to our hotel in Panajachel at a reasonable cost. She also agreed to keep our vehicle in their secure garage as long as we stayed at the hotel upon our return. What we didn't understand in Spanish, Isabel put a call into her children or relatives who spoke English to make sure all instructions were clear. Rooms were rustic but clean with microwave and bar fridge. Hotel restaurant is located a couple of doors down - great spot for breakfast!!!

Time for a special treat
Pros:

Attractive, spacious suites set in nice gardens. We liked this place but found it rather pricey for more than a 2 night stay. Good location in an otherwise very dull town. Shame that we were stuck in Tapachula 3 nights longer than we had planned for !

Clean and friendly staff
Pros:

This small hotel is located right downtown Tapachula. The hotel has nice walkways with a lot of vegetation making it applealing. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable for the price you are paying. Hotel staff is very friendly and nice, always ready to help. There are also some good small restaurants on the plaza near to the hotel.

What a great place
Pros:

We arrived in Tapachula by bus with no where to stay. I wanted to go tp the seaside and find a hotel on the sea. We jumped into a cab for the 20 minute drive to Puerto Chapas. The hotels(there was only two) were frightening to say the least. We took the taxi back to Tapachula and our driver brought us here - thank goodness.
Lovely hotel, right down town, but very quiet and private. The staff was so helpful and friendly.
Great price for so much space. We stayed in room 8. Living room and separate bedroom. Kitchen too. Good AC. Coffee and light breakfast was brought to the room in the morning.

We were going only spend one night before heading south, but stayed for two.
Lovely private garden courtyard in the center of town.

Very comfortable
Pros:

Executive Suites sounds grander than the hotel really is, but the hotel is quite charming, squeeky clean and comfortable. The gardens are lovely. The staff are very attentive. For the price, I would not want to stay anywhere else. The central plaza is an easy walk from the hotel. The rooms is equipped with fridge, microwave, kitchen sink and pila, air-conditioning, free WI-FI, and TV with a number of english-speaking channels. They deliver a hot cup of coffee, a bun, yoghurt and a banana at the hour you request, and even though we are leaving at 5:15 tomorrow morning, they offered to bring our breakfast at five. As long as you are not expective Hilton-type executive suites, this place is fine! My suggestion - If you're just here for a night or so, don't be afraid to go out and find a great taco place. What a waste to order in! Spaghetti in Mexico?!

great place
Pros:

We spent one night in this hotel on our way from Mexico to Honduras. We found Tapachula is a rather ugly town and when we found out that our hotel was right in the center of it we were not really looking forward to our stay. But surprise - the hotel is great. Staff very helpful, it is clean, cheap and it was even safe to leave our car in the street at night. If we ever go back to Tapachula we stay there. They dont have a restaurant, but will order food for you that will be delivered to the hotel. One of the options was an Italian restaurant. Don´t order there. We were very hungry and very disappointed and the price really wasn´t justified for what we god. The seafood take out restaurant was good though.

We Loved this hotel!
Pros:

We arrived in Tapachula not really knowing where to stay so our taxi driver took us to this one.

We thought 'oh well, if it's not so good we'll find somewhere else tomorrow'

As it happened we liked it so much we ended up staying an extra 3 nights! Our room was great (Suite 19) with TV, AC, Kitchen, big shower room. The staff were really helpful (even when my Mastercard was rejected they didn't seem to mind! Watch this, both my MCs are fine but their terminal wouldn't accept them so we had to drw cash from the ATM). The gardens are lovely and the location is just a few minute walk from the town centre.

Tapachula is a small town so not loads to do but great for a quick trip across the border from Guatemala. We were re-newing our Guate visas so if you have to do this then stay here!

The room was about £22.00 a night including a breakfast (delivered to room) of coffee, fruit and a pastry.

A paradise in a ordinary town.
Nice clean appartment-hôtel with kitchen at a reasonnable price.
at $50US. The garden is absolutly beautiful. People in charge are
very kind and helpful. The room is modern and well decorated without luxury. We enjoyed our stay.
