Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.
The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.

Pros:

Ein super Buffet. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

Trotz der von uns angeführten Negativpunkte ein einladendes Hotel mit angenehmer Atmoshäre, das wir weiterempfehlen kön
Pros:

die zentrale Lage, das leckere umfangreiche Frühstück, die Frühstückszeit (bis 11.30Uhr), das stets freundliche hilfsbereite Personal, Ambiente von Bar/Aufenthaltsraum, Inneneinrichtung/Architektur, Spabereich und beheizbarer Aussenpool (wurde von uns allerdings nicht genutzt).

Cons:

-Der zentral gelegene gläserne Fahrstuhl (eigentlich ein Eyecatcher) war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts defekt. Der wesentlich kleinere zweite Fahrstuhl (für max.2 Personen mit Gepäck) war umständlich zu erreichen ( u.a. über mehrere Treppenstufen) und reichte nur bis in den 2. Stock.
-In der Bar wurden wir gegen 22.30 Uhr gebeten unsere « Last Order » abzugeben. Ein bisschen früh für ein 4 Sterne Hotel meinen wir.
-Die unangenehme starke Geruchsbelästigung, die wir beim ersten Betreten unseres Zimmers feststellen mussten, wurde nach Reklamation behoben.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Borkum mit hohem Komfort
Pros:

Das Frühstück war prima. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Das Schwimmbad war gut zu erreichen. Der Fahrstuhl bringt ide Gäste auch problemlos in die oberen Stockwerke. Die Bar war sehr freundlich und lange besetzt.
