Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.
The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.

Boven verwachting.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was overweldigend. Wat een keuze. Niet alleen qua beleg maar ook wat broodjes betreft en al het andere wat werd aangeboden De locatie was top. Aan het eind van de spoorlijn, Je verlaat de coupé en na 50 meter sta j binnen bij het hotel. Prima start van mijn verblijf op Borkum

Die Vorteile überwiegen nur knapp
Pros:

- bequemes Bett (Zimmer Nr. 128)
- modernisiertes Bad
- freundliches Personal
- gutes Frühstück
- schöner Pool (Wellnesslandschaft nicht genutzt)
- die Lage direkt am Bahnhof
- ein Aufzug

Cons:

- ein ständiges Brummen ist im Zimmer zu hören
- ständig werden Türen im Erdgeschoss zugeschlagen
- Lieferungen kommen teilweise sehr früh an und ans Ausschlafen ist nicht zu denken (außer man benutzt Ohrstöppsel)
- ein Hund kostet pro Nacht 25,00 Euro - dafür werden 2 Näpfe bereitgestellt; ich halte das für einen unverschämt hohen Preis

Schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

Das Frühstück war hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Generell ist die Lage prima. Der (beheizte) Pool und der Außenbereich ist auch schön. Gut fanden wir auch die Zimmergröße, und dass im Bad die Duche ebenerdig war (und nicht wie bei vielen anderen Hotels in der Badewanne;-)

Cons:

DIe Lage war zwer prinzipiell sehr gut, da sich das Hotel im Zentrum befindet, aber unser Zimmer lag nach vorne raus direkt am Bahnhof und war daher z.T. ziemlich laut. Als Kritikpunkt habe ich, dass auch die Zimmern nach vorne raus über keine Klimaanlage verfügen und wir daher nachts die Fenster weit offen haben mussten, da es tagsüber schon sehr warm war und der Raum entsprechend auch. Und dadurch war der Lärm draußen teilweise schon recht störend. Aber bei Zimmern zum Hof dürfte das kein Problem sein. Das werde ich bei einer künftigen Buchung berücksichtigen.

Es war eine schöne Zeit, die wir gerne wiederholen würden.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut.
Die Lage wurde ja so ausgesucht, direkt am Bahnhof und ein kurzer Weg zum Strand.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, aber vom Personal nicht gut gepflegt.

Solides Hotel in Toplage mit guten Wellnessbereich.
Pros:

Toplage mitten im Zentrum von Borkum.
Tolles, aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Mitarbeiter und Frühstück sind Top.
Wellnessbereich ist toll.

Cons:

Ausstattung der Zimmer könnte mal überarbeitet werden. Ein bisschen flotter wäre schön.

Schöner Aufenthalt den wir sehr genossen haben.
Pros:

Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Absolut zuvorkommende Mitarbeitern. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr modern und komfortabel.
Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer lag leider zur Stassenseite. Da die Zimmer über keine Klimaanlage verfügen mussten wir bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen. Daher war an Schlaf nicht zu denken, da es für die Insel leider die ganze Nacht über sehr laut war. Entschädigt wurden wir durch den wirklich tollen Pool !
