Always a good experience!
Pros:

This is our second time staying at Yellowstone River Cottages The location is excellent, just under five minutes from the park's north entrance, within walking distance to the supermarket and gas station. Our bungalow was spotless, with comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. We grilled steak twice by the river using the charcoal grill. James kindly lent us the grilling utensils. James and Ashley stand out among the staff — they are fantastic! The entire team is very friendly, hardworking, and dedicated to keeping the rooms and grounds spotless.

Perfect stay close to the park!
Pros:

Phenomenal location, we could see the original entrance arch to Yellowstone from our room on the river. Beautiful view of the mountains after an overnight snow! The kitchen was great for our morning coffee and quick meals in the evening after exploring the park. The room was nicely updated and clean, the bed was comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

All in all, a very relaxing trip. Will plan to return with the rest of my family in near future.
Pros:

Interior space very well designed and laid out. The heating system was wonderful after a long day out doors, as was the hot shower. (The shower itself - well designed!) View and sound of river wonderful. Very clean. Kitchen had all amenities. People who ran the place were very friendly and accommodating....lending me both bear spray and a bear horn. Also, the well-stocked local market was walking distance.

Cons:

Very loud neighbors with small children in the adjoining space who kept ungodly hours. Was kept awake until almost midnight both evenings.

Nice Little Touches
Pros:

Really nice little place. The room was pretty small, but it was extremely clean. Had nice touches like wineglasses, plates, and silverware. The view from the balcony was tremendous!

Family Get Together Gone Right!
Pros:

Our family came up and spent almost a week here in Gardiner. We had 3 rooms (two were on the ground floor - smaller rooms, that two of us couples were in - and there was a big room upstairs - that another couple (and their baby) and my brother-in-law stayed in . There was a big living room (in the upstairs room) and we spent the nights hanging out there. It's rare that we are able to all get together, but this worked out great.
We saw animals walking around the area (elk & deer). The property is really close to the grocery store, so we were able to grab stuff pretty easily.
All our rooms had fully stocked kitchens, so we cooked every night (had an early-Thanksgiving).
If we ever come back to the area we'd definetely stay here again.

A Gem in Gardiner
Pros:

Lovely stay in Gardiner! We arrived after dark at the end of a snowcoach trip to Old Faithful. I knew that the office would already be closed and walked in to find an envelope with our name on it, which contained everything we needed to know. The management here have thought of everything. There was a map to our cottage and to our parking space. There was also information and area maps to pick up. We also found a binder with more helpful information on our room, which was newly redone in a modern style and very comfy. I will also say that it was spotlessly clean. I realized that the "cottage" denotation meant that it was set up for a long term stay comfortably. It not only had a frig, microwave and Keurig, but also a toaster and complete dishwasher and silverware for two. They had also included dishwashing supplies and towels. It would make for a comfortable weeks stay in the area. They are right on the river and have a covered deck overlooking it, as well as stairs if you want to go down to the bank. It was wonderful having real wine glasses to use relaxing at the end of a long day in the park. We highly recommend staying here.

Pros:

Great location. Walkable to several great places to eat and like music. Kat at the front desk was awesome and helped us with several recommendations and was super responsive to our questions.
