Pros:

Struttura in una posizione davvero suggestiva per la vista, pulita, piscina e campo da tennis, staff cordiale e disponibile

Cons:

Alcune parti della stanza/bagno potrebbero essere ammodernate, più un resort per famiglie con bambini quindi potrebbe essere meno adatto ai viaggi di coppia o con amici, la colazione non mi ha entusiasmato

Great hotel to explore the beautiful island of Ischia. Forio is a wonderful location and has a fantastic vibe.
Pros:

Traditional Italian hotel. Lovely grounds. Great family room with two rooms. Good location, 30min walk along waterfront or 10mins to bus stop to get into Forio. Pools were good and amazing to look out to sea. The beach was easy to access at the end of the hotel grounds.

Pros:

Albergo in zona San Francesco a pochi passi dal mare e con splendidi giardini curati; colazione di nostro gradimento con cornetti ischitani sfornati caldi la mattina presto, personale cortese e simpatico

Cons:

La struttura necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione, in particolare la rubinetteria dei bagni e le docce; considerato che il lido balneare è della stessa proprietà sarebbe bello che offrisse una convenzione agli ospiti dell’albergo

En härlig vecka på Ischia med boende på utmärkt läge.
Pros:

Stora, välstädade rum. Underbar utsikt från balkongen över den vackra trädgården, poolområdet och havet.

Schöne Lage, auch das Hotel schön wenn auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber mit viel Charme

Wunderschöner Garten, schöne Anlage, direkt auch am Meer ,

Cons:

Der Tennisplatz ist nicht inkludiert man bezahlt 20€/h und die Ausrüstung die man bekommt ist eigentlich eine Frechheit. Kaputte Bälle und kaputte Schläger. Auch das netz ist kaputt sodass Bälle immer rausfallen;
Zudem muss man für Handtücher am pool 5€/Handtuch zahlen, meiner Meinung nach sollten solche Utensilien bei einem Hotel inkludiert sein ohne immer Extras zu verlangen

Pros:

This is a lovely little hotel if a bit dated. There are 2 small pools one of which is very warm which we all enjoyed. It was very quiet when we were there which was even better. We had a family room and it was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Showers were very powerful. Only comment would be that we would all have liked an additional pillow.

Cons:

Breakfast is quite basic - lots of pastries and cakes. We played tennis one day and were charged 20 Euros yet the balls were so flat they wouldn't bounce so a bit of a waste of money.

Pros:

Maria at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel very welcome, like family, even though we spoke mainly English. The property was located in such a great area of you’re looking for a quiet place to retreat after a day downtown (it’s is still walkable)

A Hidden Gem by the Sea

Hotel Zaro was the ideal choice for a truly relaxing holiday! It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area, right by the sea – the view is simply breathtaking. 🌅

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel at home from the very beginning. The hotel is also child-friendly, everything was just right for a comfortable stay with our little one.

While it’s far from noise and crowds, it’s still within walking distance (about 20 minutes) from the charming streets of Forio. We came here to unwind, and the lack of Wi-Fi and mobile signal in the room actually helped us disconnect and fully recharge.

We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm, nature, and warm hospitality in a beautiful setting. 💛

Dejligt hotel, med god beliggenhed, venligt personale og gode værelser til prisen.
Morgenmaden kedelig og ikke værd at spise.
Jeg vil ikke vælge hotellet igen, primært på grund af manglende internet på værelserne, hvilket er usædvanligt i 2025.

Fabulous traditional island hotel.
Pros:

This hotel is beautiful. The public rooms, corridors and bedrooms have pretty tiling and there is lots of outside space too.
The staff are really kind and helpful. The staff in the restuarant are very attentive.
The beach is a short walk and there is a good choice of restuarants within walking distance.

Cons:

The bar only serves food at lunchtime and the prices of drinks are steep.
The sunbeds at the pool don't lie flat.
The evening menu is good value but a bit like a canteen.
This is nothing to do with the hotel but bus travel on the island is difficult and taxis are expensive.

Pros:

Beautiful faded glamour!

Cons:

Breakfast was average and could have been much better ie much healthier. Everything was stale. Coffee good eggs were like rubber. No choice for vegans.
