Bed placement was not ideal, one could bang the head while sitting on the bed
Light was very dim
Central heating was not working though receptionist provided with a portable one.

Our room was below the ground floor. It was very dark. The shower was broken, and the door wouldn't close. The remote control was dirty, and the batteries weren't sealed.
There were no outlets near the bed.

It was disgusting and one of the worst places I’ve ever been. I would never recommend it to anyone. Please don’t go there.

The facilities were dirty and broken. Firstly, it wasn’t clear on the page that check-in wasn’t in the same building. I was extremely annoyed trying to find it and when we arrived, there was no apology or chat. It was completely silent and horrible.

When we got our card, we had to climb some very tall, horrible steps. There was no nice view from the window, which was small and the room layout was awful. They gave us a tiny TV that couldn’t be watched because the remote didn’t work.

Then, when we went into the shower, there was no working light, a used toilet roll and it was cold and dirty. The worst part was they didn’t even try to hide it. The part where the drain was was black and mouldy. The towels were small and didn’t even cover me. There were no signs telling us which way the water went, so it was cold and I had to call to ask how to fix it.

The first night was disappointing, but the second was one of the worst nightmares I’ve ever had. I woke up at 3:00 am with police banging and shouting at the people next door. It was completely disgusting. I didn’t fall asleep until 7:00 am because I struggle with sleep. The check-out was at 10:00 am the next morning, and I was completely disappointed.

When I spoke to the check-in staff, they said they weren’t aware of this. The police got into the hotel because the front door was open, which it always is. It’s completely unsafe and horrible. I am completely disgusted by this and when I told them, I received no apologies or compensation.

The room was filthy - only two very thin pillows provided for two people

In a basement very dark and lightbulb very dim
TV remote was falling apart
Half the lights don't work in the corridors
Very small room
Mouldy ceilings and a hole in bathroom door
Mouldy shower enclosure, door missing and replaced with a shower curtain

Carpet was dirty, no view out (even street), staff not smiley at all, won't stay there again.

Apart from no glass alls good

Nothing it is a little dated and in need of a new decoration but value for money

When I first checked in I was shown to a room which had not been cleaned from the previous stay (bins not emptied, no fresh towels, etc)
I was shown a variety of clean rooms to chose alternatively however they were all similar and the one I chose did still have a fist through the bathroom door, holes from screws, button from the toilet clicked in, random neon pink substance on the ceiling and hairdryer did not work.

Given a second floor room, with no lift, difficult to climb stairs due to disability

The beds were uncomfortable and one of the bunk bed mattresses was falling apart. The fridge worked but had been smashed on top. The pillows were hard. There wasn't a sofa bed as advertised

Unfortunately, the bed was broken and the shower door was also broken. I reported to the issue to the receptionist and they have said that they would get someone from the maintenance team to fix the shower door. Unfortunately this was not the case. Regarding the bed they said that they could not do much regarding the bed. There was dust on the top of the head board, the floor was not well hoovered. Unfortunately, I will not stay here again, it’s a shame as it’s in a good location.
