Cons:

I’ve been to this hotel a couple of times before. It was quite impressive in all those occasions. I’ve received best service, hence I kept coming back. However, this time was totally different, significantly so. Staff was looking very uninterested and disengaged. The room I was allocated looked cramped (small for 2 people)and had utensils and crockery for one person even though it said it accommodates 2 people. On my last day I asked if I can do a late check out with costs and I was declined. The receptionist cited lack of rooms, only for me to go on bookings.com and find that rooms were available. Fruits served at the restaurant for breakfast were off, I had to return them and I did not even get the apology for that. The service in general was really bad

Pros:

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Loch Logan Hotel insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen im Restaurant und das Frühstück am Morgen waren ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung im Restaurant, der Barkeeper und auch der Pförtner, der uns beim Einparken auf dem Parkplatz geholfen hat, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Loch Logan Hotel wegen seines Rooftops mit Aussicht auf die Stadt gewählt. Leider hat ein starkes Gewitter uns daran gehindert, die Roof Top Bar und die Aussicht zu genießen. Aber für dieses Pech kann das Hotel nicht. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt trotzdem sehr zufrieden.

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, from arrival where we were greeted and helped with luggage through the reception where the staff were excellent and being shown to the room. Breakfast was very good and prepared to order. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The security at the hotel was good and comforting with electric gates and high fences.

Cons:

The restaurant and bar were a disappointment. They had run out of wine and cool drinks like Coke. The menu for supper was limited with numerous items unavailable. The wifi was non existent in the room. The general area of the hotel is not particularly nice and very run down. It proved quite difficult to find the hotel even with Google Maps and Waze.
