I liked everything . Breakfast could have some more hot choices , bedroom small .....so lose the 4 poster!

Wunderbare Lage mit Blick auf`s Meer. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr gross aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hervorragende Küche im kleinen Restaurant, sehr empfehlenswert!

Pros:

Mooi hotel op een heuvel met uitzicht over Ponta do Sol. Bij het ontbijt kregen we ons eigen mandje met croissants, broodjes en versgeperste sinaasappelsap. Het diner dat we hadden was erg lekker. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel of op een aparte parkeerplaats zo'n 50 meter van het hotel.

Our stay was amazing!!!
Pros:

Hotel was excellent, located in a beautiful old historic mansion. The restaurant was superb. And the staff was amazing. Special mention to Gina in the restaurant and Nicole on the management team that was so helpful. Only challenge for us was getting up the steep narrow road but once you were there it was so worth it.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Perfect
Pros:

Plenty of options for breakfast. A fab start to the day. Location and views over the banana plantation and towards the see was beautiful. A short journey from Funchal. Great for a Lavada walk.

Cons:

Don't come here if you like big hotels it is small and friendly.

Dream stay, perfect hotel
Pros:

The house is beautiful, the room is spacious and beautiful, fully equipped and in classic style design, the team is super smart, helpful, and capable, and it shows they love working there, breakfast is great, the view is breathtaking, and they have multiple private parking spots around the house. What more do you need? nothing actually, we loved it so much

Cons:

nothing; I will say that as much as the pictures on Booking are great, in reality it's even better

A little piece of paradise
Pros:

This hotel is so dreamy. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful in an atypical, castly kind of way, whilst remaining modern and practical. The pool and restaurant area is so cozy and quiet. The staff is super kind and helpful. The restaurant is also very good, with nice wine selection. The breakfast is also delicious and they will make eggs for you the way you like it. It was by far the best hotel of our trip to Madeira!
