This place is absolutely wonderful. A fabulous location overlooking the sea.
We stayed in an attic room, while a little small, the ceiling height soars into the eves of the roof. Randomly, our bathroom probably had the best view of any hotel bathroom.
We opted to have dinner at the property (limited dining options in the area on foot), which was a lovely surprise - reasonably priced and nice options.
The breakfast was the best of the hotels we stayed in with seating on the terrace overlooking the sea.
All in all - a fabulous place to base yourself while in Madeira.
Driving up the winding roads can be a challenge but this is normal for Madeira.
Beautiful boutique hotel. Very clean. Great, professional staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Ample parking. Delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Amazing, unbeatable view. We felt so comfortable and happy to stay here. It was also just a short drive to restaurants and the beach.

Beautiful hotel - loved the room and the view from the window, as well as the patio view. The staff has been very helpful and trying to ensure we had a nice experience. Enjoyed every minute of it!

Alles is smaakvol ingericht. De kamer wel wat aan de kleine kant maar wel is alles even mooi en luxe gevoel. Uitkijkend over de vallei. Qua uitval basis om ergens heen te rijden voor een mooie wandeling prima. Maar ook het fijne strand van Calheta maar op kwartiertje rijden. Om bij te komen ook heerlijk. Zeer brede ontbijt tijden waardoor je bijna altijd alleen ontbeet in alle rust
Als je naar beneden loopt, moet je ook weer naar boven. Het is even een klimmetje. Maar goed dat is Madeira…

Everything! We had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon at Zino’s. The staff is super friendly and helpful, we even got a special treat from them as a surprise. Breakfast buffet was amazing - a selection of local and homemade products, cheese, fresh fruits and warm bread rolls and croissant, together with freshly squeezed orange juice. We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant twice.
The hotel has an amazing view of the ocean and banana plantations. The terrace is perfect for lying around and reading.
We appreciated how calm our stay was, perfect for relaxing. The location is very convenient for trips around the island. It’s very convenient to have a car, although fair warning, the road to the hotel is not for inexperienced drivers (definitely recommend an automatic car).
