Took 20 minutes to register site. Clearly shows there is new paint and new bedding and new linens and new flooring, but apparently these are just showrooms. I ended up in a room that hadn't had the carpet changed for 50 years. Colors were brand new but over the top of dirty stained walls. Stains already starting to show through no bathtub. Just a shower tiny clearly says on the check-in. No refunds which should have told me something right then
Run down Motel, not a hotel.

This motel is in the middle of the freeway, right next to the gas station and there is nothing around. It is very run down place. Picture of the room is from a different motel or taken 30 years ago. There are no people were around and i saw staff member only twice-when i got the key and on check out. There was a power outage for about 6 hours or more, i could not find anyone to ask for a flashlight or a candle. I guess when you need a place with a door for one night, i’ll do.
If we stayed we would have liked the convenient location.
Upon entering room 115, we discovered mold in our assigned room, which posed a significant health concern. The presence of mold made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable, as it could exacerbate respiratory issues and other health problems. Additionally, the ceiling was significantly cracked (see attached pictures), one of the electrical outlets was protruding from the wall, there were holes in the walls, a large presence of bugs around the property, and the property seemed like it had not been properly maintained in a decade. After assessing the situation, we determined that it was not safe to remain in the room and had no choice but to leave the property immediately.
Given these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for the cost of the reservation, as the accommodations were uninhabitable and did not meet basic standards of safety and cleanliness. I have attached photos of the mold and the general state of the room. Judging from the state of the “hotel” (which is actually a motel) and the misrepresentation on the booking.com website, we believe this property is deceitfully advertising on your website. Furthermore, we advise that you investigate the state of the property yourself, as it looks nothing like the pictures.
We would not stay at the property even if it were free.
In need of a full renovation.
Arrived and name on motel was Bluejay, not what was advertised. Would not suggest others to stay. Towels felt like they were hung dry. If I wasn't so exhausted would not have stayed.

No heat, no new soap only a used soap bar, no tissue, broken sink, needs a total renovation
This was a scary site when we pulled up and the sign at the road does not even read OYO Hotel, it reads Blue Jay Motel. I would pass on staying here again, we were supposed to stay 2 nights and only stayed 1 and I would not even use the shower, I took my shower somewhere else and not at this scary place.

We didn't have hot water at all. The front desk told us to run the water for about 10 mins. we ran the water for 30 mins, and it was still ice cold
Aged property and non-smoking room smells like smoke, but there is a fridge with freezer, microwave and a nice Mexican restaurant a mile down the road. Inexpensive compared with near by options, and close to trailhead.
I don’t usually give reviews and certainly not bad ones but seems this property had its heyday in the 1950s and hasn’t been updated since. I should have read the prior reviews as I mistakenly assumed the OYO connection helped but there was no sign, literally, of OYO and the pictures online are very misleading. This property is what it is - a rundown roadside motel - and you get what you pay for.
I liked NOT ONE THING!!!! I arrived at 11 pm....THE HOTEL HAD NO RESERVATION FOR ME!! THEY KNEW NOTHING OF THE RESERVATION.. .ALSO IT IS NOT A HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!THE FACILITY IS CALLED THE BLUEBIRD MOTEL.
This place did not have my reservation and my stay to visit my daughter at college was THREE TIMES MORE THAN MY BUDGET!!! That was after having to call to find an open room during parents weekend!!! DON'T BOOK THIS MOTEL AND DON'T USE BOOKING!!!!!!!!!
