This room was so dirty, thick layer of dust on the kettle, stained carpets and walls. There was hair on the nightstand.

Awful place, it was that bad im putting in a complaint, it was dirty, TV didn't work, the lights on the ceiling were flashing which gave me a headache, there was mould in the bathroom, the carpet was filthy, the mattress was stained up and old, it smelt like cat pee, it was the worst hotel ive ever stayed in and certainly not worth £120 for the night.
The only positive was that it was easy to get an Uber to leave the property.
The room was filthy. There were stains up the walls, skirting boards and door handles, heavily stained carpets, and an overwhelming smell of dog throughout the hotel and inside the room that was almost unbearable. The beds were extremely poor quality, with mattresses that felt cheap and uncomfortable.
None of the lightbulbs worked — I had to remove a bulb from one room just to have a light in another. The shower head did not fit onto the shower, meaning my children had to sit down in a mouldy bath just to wash.
There was a pin left in the headboard where my children were supposed to sleep, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous. Tea bags were left in an open container, cups were dirty, and the kettle was not clean or inviting to use.
If I hadn’t been miles from home and unable to book elsewhere, I would not have stayed.
Location. Was close to the childrens hospital which was the reason for our stay

The room
It happened i was inside my room and after some time, the owner came and he asked me to open the door. I was behind the door and he was pushing the door . He wanted to come inside. He was forcefully pushing the door and trying to come inside. I said you can not come inside. He said i just want to check that everything is okay. I said its ok but you can not come inside. He said i wanted to tell you to not smoke. I was shocked and scared. He harassed me. I have already reported him at customer service. Hope they get some action against him. As soon as he went , i closed the door and i tried to contact the hepl center. They asked me to contact the property and i contacted the property and in the phone, it was the same man who was trying to come inside. When i told him the whole situation, he said let me sort out and dusconnected my call and then he did not call me back. It was a horrible experience. I wish booking. com to take action over that because harassment is totally unbearble and i tried a lot to report him as it is unethical and unbearable. No one deserves this . Please make sure , your security must be your first privacy. If he did this to me, the next can be anyone. So, please be aware of this and investigate before booking your room here.
smelled of wee and weed. dirty bedding and curtains. shower faulty. tv remote missing. no lamps. kettle broke. tea/coffee/sugar/powdered milk solidified, old and in dirty jars. no spoon. decorating sloppy. a sock over the fire alarm. multiple extensions provided for power sockets and they sparked. no staff, all done via WhatsApp.

Value for money of The Milverton is excellent, and having a door code to come and go as you please is very convenient. I love the character of the building too, the arched interior doors are a great feature. We were in the attic room and it felt very cosy indeed.
There didn't seem to be any staff on hand, but having a door code does mean you may not need anybody. We didn't mind at all, but it might not be for everyone if you like a personal touch. Again though, this is reflected in the price and it's hard to argue with.
Nouthing.
Everything.... like the bad smell when we walked in to reception the room its self was not like the pictures it was awful.
It’s was ok for the price no complaints but bathroom wasn’t the best and toilet wasn’t clean
The rooms massively need updating I’d say
Comfortable bed
Very bad water pressure and wifi was very slow,
