Far below a 4-star standard

We booked this property expecting a 4-star hotel, especially for a romantic one-night stay as a couple, but the reality was very disappointing.

There is a nightclub located downstairs, with extremely loud music playing until around 5 a.m., making sleep impossible. This is not clearly communicated during booking.

The overall condition of the hotel is poor and far below any 4-star standard. Rooms and common areas show visible wear, damage, stains, and lack of proper maintenance. The room layout is not suitable for couples and feels more like a student hostel than a hotel.

The attitude of the staff was also disappointing. When we raised our concerns, there was little interest or willingness to help, and the issues were largely ignored.

This place may suit young people who want to party, but it is not suitable for rest or relaxation after sightseeing.

We are giving 2 stars only because the location is excellent. Otherwise, we would rate this place 1 star at most.

Overall, we feel misled and do not understand how this property is rated as a 4-star hotel.

Es war schlimme Nacht!

Es war voll Zentral

Cons:

Ganze Nacht war streit von Jungen Leuten an diese Etage und trotz Meldung an der Rezeption,passierte nix! Wir haben so gut wie nicht geschlafen!

Pros:

Location was excellent, room was clean and of good size the only issue i encountered was the music blasting till 5am which could heard from the room

Cons:

My only issue was the loud music, apart from that the hotel is fine.

Hotel simpatičan, pristupačne cijene, sve je bilo super osim činjenice da nismo uspjeli odmoriti.
Pros:

Super lokacija, sve je blizu i pristupačno. Hotel simpatičan kao i osoblje.

Cons:

Prvu noć je bila zabava u hotelu, recepcioner se unaprijed ispričao, međutim da smo bili na vrijeme obavješteni da nećemo moći zaspati prije 3 ujutro ne bi bookirali. Drugu noć su nas probudili drugi gosti hotela u 5 sati ujutro, što nije krivnja hotela, ali znači da od 2 noći niti jednu se nismo naspavali.

Pros:

A 20 minutes de la gare à pied, à la charnière entre le centre ville et la vieille ville. Idéal donc pour rayonner. Dans un style un peu décalé par rapport à un hôtel traditionnel, il offre une expérience intéressante : design, animation, bar ouvert tard. Franchement, en semaine, après une journée active, le bruit ne m'a pas gêné.

Iznad očekivanja obzirom na prijašnje recenzije.
Pros:

Ranije sam odlazio pa mi je ljubazno osoblje pripremilo doručak za ponijeti. Bilo je izvrsno. Obzirom na ocjene koje sam pronašao na internetu očekivao sam znatno manje.

Cons:

Predprostor hotela je malo "zbunjujući" jer nemaš dojam gdje krenuti do recepcije i do soba. Par dodatnih oznaka bi svakako odigralo ulogu.
