RedDoorz at Sedayu 1 Parapat

Das Zimmer war klein, aber ok. Die Wände sind extrem hellhörig, da der Ventilator in den Flur geht. Die Bettwäsche war schmutzig und im Bad tropfte die Klimaanlage. Sehr unangenehm war der Geruch der Toilette/des Badezimmers. Ein Waschbecken sowie Toilettenpapier gibt es nicht.
Das Personal war freundlich sprach aber leider kein English und konnte uns nicht sagen wie man zur Fähre kommt bzw. uns ein Taxi rufen.

The ground floor entrance and reception area is, if I can say it, the nicest part of this not-fit-for-purpose place but gives some indication of what to expect in the rooms, which are:
dirty
dingy
stink of tobacco
have bed bugs
....add to this the feeling that it's not safe to keep anything in the room.
Reception staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and useless.
And we thought the place in Pemetangsianter was the worst we had been in.
Needless-to-say, we didn't stay and after finding another hotel moved out.
Do not stay here....Parapat doesn't have much choice but there are better options.

The sink was moldy, broken and leaking all water on the floor which made such a bad smell and when asked to change room the other one had the exact same problem (no other option was given), the bedsheets didn’t seem clean, wifi was barely working, the windows broken so mosquitos etc. could come in. Also we were only given one towel for the both of us and no toilet paper. Will not be going back to redoorz.

Noisy as above the door are open wooden louvres so the scooters & trucks can be heard from the road as can their loud horns! Asked reception for hot water in the shower but was told there was none, understand that in certain places this happens but no sink was disappointing even though all the pipes and plumbing is there for one.

When I told the receptionist that we have booked a double and a twin room, they told that they have received a booking for two double. She refused to modify the booking according to what we have requested trough booking.com. Moreover they didn’t accepted any electronic payment even if it was specified on the website that they would. The room was dirty, there was a cicak (geco) in the toilet and hair in the bedsheets.
