Tranquility Beach Anguilla Resort

Everything was perfect, I loved our stay and we will be back. Every member of the staff was warm and kind and so attentive. Counting down the days until we can come back

My wife and I spent a fabulous week at Tranquility Beach Nov. 15-22. We can't say enough great things about the hotel, the staff, the beach, the location, our dining experiences and Anguilla and its people! We're very well travelled, particularly in the Caribbean where we've been 30+ times and have been fortunate to have had so many great experiences. And Tranquility Beach is certainly one of the best! Deanna, the general manager and her staff are simply the best! Sam, Elvin, Javan, Abiel, Kemeisha Tamilee and others were so great. Deanna and several staff members greeted us when we stepped out of the van, handed us cold towels, special drinks and escorted right away into our unit. No check-in process, no waiting in a lobby! We booked a first floor, beachfront, one-bedroom suite that was just fabulous, inside and out and literally on the beach. These are new, spacious, first class, modern accommodations and extremely well equipped. On the beach, comfortable, padded lounge chairs and umbrellas, drink service and all kinds of nice extras from Sam and Elvin. The beach is soft white sand, no rocks no seaweed. The ocean water is mild and crystal clear. We spoke to many of the other guests and met alot of nice people. We drove around the entire island and there are many nice beaches and areas but thought that this location on Mead's Bay was the best. Many really nice restaurants along the beach in short walking distance. We liked it so much we booked a week next year before we left. The staff was just so nice, we miss them already and can't wait to return! P&L

Where to start? Let me just say I don't like going to the same place twice, but as soon as we got home we started talking about when we would return to Tranquility. The warm group greeting from the staff upon arrival really sets the tone for what you will be getting for your stay: top notch service by friendly and helpful people. They literally will go over the top to take care of you and get you whatever you request (they secure your dinner reservations for you, can go get breakfast pastries for you, arrange car rentals, etc.). The room was immaculate gives you the sense of luxury as you walk throughout. Spacious. Clean. Stylish. Romantic. Everything I could ask for.

The beach is just superb. Clean. Crystal blue water. Not crowded at all! And one of the biggest things I appreciated was the kiosk the place had set up on the beach to get chilled water, towels, water floatation aids, and best of all, a continuous supply of 50 and 30-block sunscreen. Sam and his team come around often to ensure you are "well hydrated" and offer all kinds of fantastic drinks. We literally spent a couple of days on that beach--it had all we needed to forget about life for a while.

We toured the entire island visiting different beaches and resorts, and if I am honest, this is the best location on the island. You are close to numerous high-quality restaurants (we walked to most) and bars, yet as the name conveys, it is a very quiet and tranquil area with not a lot of busyness or oversaturated tourism. The hotel is also very close to a grocery store if you need supplies. But you have everything you need for an unforgettable stay right in this area. (The food in the area is unbeatable in quality--I came home feeling so good from what we consumed here.)

All in all, I can't say enough good things about Tranquility. Service, quality of amenities and room, convenience, hospitable, and beautiful. This place has it all and my wife and I will be returning!

Absolute perfection on every level. The condo, the service, the beach, the water…I can’t WAIT to go back. Also, for any women who are considering travelling on their own, I can’t imagine a more wonderful place. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and I will be there to celebrate my 51st. It was amazing to explore other parts of the stunning island but I would have been fine to just stay there the whole time. Meads Bay is incredible and the access to amazing restaurants is ideal! You can walk the beach in either direction for both casual and upscale dining options. 15/10 recommend.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING stay. The warm reception from the staff. Super friendly and welcoming. The place is immaculate, sparkling clean, super luxurious and cozy. Each unit has a jacuzzi on its balcony overlooking the beach. Nothing like relaxing in it, after a long day enjoying the beach, with a glass of wine and listening to the sounds of the ocean.
Bathroom was super spacious with a nice tub. Bed was super comfortable allowing a great nights sleep.
Abiel was kind enough to let us check in a bit earlier.
We had three increíble days at this gorgeous resort. Can’t recommend it enough!
Hoping to stay longer next time. Worth every penny.

Wonderful experience, highly recommended. Location is perfect if you are looking to unwind. Beach is stunning, water is calm for swimming, and wonderful restaurants abound.

Each and every staff member always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing and pleasurable.
The condominium was kept in pristine condition with all of the necessities.
The beach was absolutely perfect, very quiet and beautiful.

We spent five nights in Anguilla at Tranquility Beach. The resort and staff were wonderful and we can't wait to go back. The beach was beautiful and Sam kept the drinks and smiles going. Many restaurants in walking distance and grocery store right up the road.

Stellar staff! From when we arrived to the time we (sadly) checked out. Helpful, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. Clean property all around. Always smell wonderful in our unit. The beachfront property is clean and pristine. Another A+ is they have Sam,… who makes the best Mojitos and other delicious frozen drinks for that hot sunny beach day. We can’t wait to go back! Bravo guys!
Btw - There was this cute black cat, always linger around there. He has a blue collar so I assumed he is belong to someone. He is a very sweet boy and like a pet to me in that few days we were there. I was sad leaving him too. So to the Tranquility Staff, please take good care of this sweet cat 🐈‍⬛❤️🙏.

I was hesitant to give Tranquility Beach a review. Why? Because I'm selfish and I want to keep it all to myself! But that wouldn't be fair to the lovely people of Anguilla and the employees of this amazing property. I have stayed in several properties on Meads Bay (large luxury resort, small boutique hotel, budget friendly condo) and Tranquility Beach is far and away the best. The smaller scale of the property allows the staff to treat each guest with personal attention. The condo is beautiful. The beach is, of course, stunning. The access to restaurants on Meads Bay is a huge bonus. I have found my favorite place to stay. Reservation for next year is already secured.
*A note about Anguilla. I have visited the island six times. If you have never been - here are a few tips. Rent a car. Explore the island. Stop at the road side fruit stands. Get barbecue from the place that smells amazing. Be gracious, respectful, and kind. This island and its people are an absolute treasure.

Amazing experience. This is a perfect hotel. I have no complaints. They literally thought of everything a guest would need and provided it without us asking. From having car rental delivered to us, water bowls outside of our room for our sandy feet, and fresh baked pastries.

For our belated 37th anniversary (April 1st)

If you don’t want to read all of this; the secret is: WOW! YES, we are going back in 2026!

Flight:
Nashville, USA to Miami, then Miami to Anguilla
Decided to fly direct rather than to St. Maarten then a ferry transfer to Anguilla.
American Airlines was the only flight direct from Nashville and all was well other than delays to and from.
Arrival to AXA we deplaned a short walking distance from the terminal; no issues with a nice day, but if raining it wouldn't be fun.
Entry was no issue, only took about thirty minutes to clear and retrieve our luggage.

Transfer:
We decided on a taxi rather than rent a car since we were tired after being up since 2:00am to catch our initial flight and it was now 4:00pm. We do recommend placing a reservation for a rental as early as possible, as we were unable to get one on the spur of the moment.
Taxi was no issue and reasonable.
Travel to Tranquility beach was a short 20 minute ride.
Traffic and roads reminded us of Jamaica other than slightly slower drivers.
General area terrain also reminded us of Jamaica other than much safer and almost no homes with bars on windows and doors. We NEVER felt unsafe.

Now to the best part, Tranquility Beach property:
The same if not better than what was provided in all the YouTube videos, websites and forums we searched.
We stayed in their “Beachfront 1 Bedroom Condominium” because we wanted the bed looking out at the wonderful view of the ocean.
So… we were met on arrival by two men who delivered us and our luggage to our room, one stayed and went over everything. Apologies, I don’t remember which men started us off other than Sam showed up shortly with welcome drinks for us, some type of mango or strawberry deliciousness.
We were shown everything about the property and how to contact them with any issues or request by WhatApp.
The room: Again, the same if not better than all we had seen on the web; clean, spacious and everything worked… oh… did is say clean!
We are always worried about cooling on our beach stays, but this was zero issue to keep cool. Actually a bit too cool in the bathroom the first day for a shower. The shower is so wide open no heat is contained and the water was not super hot. I ask to have the water temperature raised, after that all was wonderful.
Kitchen was well stocked with basics and the appliances looked as new out of the box, the staff really clean well.
The bed was perfectly comfortable with an incredible view from it.
The terrace was just the size we needed to relax. There is a barrier between it and the next door neighbor’s terrace. We were unsure how private and see through it would be so we brought a white sheet and some temporary stick-on hooks to proved complete privacy, it was needed for those intimate moments. Being on the second floor it was reasonably private from the view of the beach.
The hot/cold whirlpool tub ran 24hr, I assume to keep it filtered. We only used it a few times but it worked perfectly and had an obviously great view as well.

The beach:
The beach was just right there! No walking time, It’s just right there.
The beach was almost empty. I don’t know if it was the time of year, but we felt all alone in paradise.
The beach was spotless, not just in front of Tranquility, but everywhere we went. No trash, only a few specks of seaweed; just sand and water.
The water was beyond post-card electric blue and as clear as pouring bottled water. The best we have ever seen considering we have been to Negril Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Eagle Beach Anguilla, Lopesan Costa Bavaro beach Punta Cana and about every three months we stay close to Miami. Water was slightly cooler than we expected with it being that far south, but was easy to get used to.
The previously mentioned Sam seemed to be the primary beach attendant and was great. We did meet Deshaun one and he was great as well.
Every one we came in contact with was exceptional!
Abiel is who we contacted mostly; he was super attentive and almost immediately took care of our every request. He was spot-on for everything! Also, that man really puts in the time; it seemed that every time we were out of our room he was on the property doing something.
Kemeisha we met a few times was super nice.
Javan we met several times was also super nice and attentive.
Again, everyone we came in contact with at Tranquility was exceptional!

What we ate:
Our normal plan is to settle into the room and relax for a bit then get groceries and provisions for the stay. We were so tired we just walked down to Straw Hat.

2nd day We went to Best Buy for such and that was really our only down part of the trip. I guess we are spoiled to what we have available at home. Yes, I do realize it is an island and most everything has to be shipped in. It may have just been a bad timing issue. Everything was clean, just not the variety and availability we are spoiled to. So we just got a few things and decided to spend more than we expected on eating out.
Before we went to Best Buy we ate across the road at Epic Foods Delivery. We had a burger and the best crispy chicken fingers we have ever had!

The rest I don’t remember the order of other days so:
Bar Soleil at Malliouhana for Taco Tuesday – wonderful view for dinner, but too many clouds for a sunset. Tacos were good but the servers were so overwhelmed by crowd. We were second to be seated, but it was one hour and twenty minutes before we received our tacos. Just a bad night for them.

Blanchard Beach Shack – went there twice and had burgers and Mahi bites. All great.

Blanchards Restaurant – had the crispy pork shank, oh my, it was so good! And the Char Siu ribs were good but we are used to Tennessee southern bar-b-q.

Mill House Cafe – we had a too late breakfast as our ride was delayed but the kind people allowed us to order breakfast. Just bacon, eggs and toast and an omelet, but they were perfect.

Sharkeys – a more upscale dinner. All very nice other than they lost us for about 45 minutes after being seated before we ask the manager for a menu. We had the Anguilla lobster cake which was incredible, pepper crusted tuna and lemon rosemary chicken.

Tasty’s Beach Club at Rendezvous Bay – we had blackend Mahi and another burger… The we relaxed on their complementary beach chairs and enjoyed that wonderful beach and water.

Departure:
You do need some time at the airport to go through two exiting processes and then security. We were there two hours early and had plenty of time. We had to sit for about 45 minutes before boarding. But better to be early.

We cant wait to go back next year.

The beach is the most beatiful on the island, the hotel was perfect, the staff was very kind and attentive with small details which made all the difference on the stay.

Best hotel ever! Everything perfect! The most beautiful beach!

Tranquility Beach Resort was amazing!! Superb concierge services, friendly staff and the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. I stayed in a 1 bedroom condo with my two daughters, 18 and 20. They shared the king size bed and I slept on the pullout couch which happened to be the most comfortable bed ever!!! I looked forward to it every night!! I hope to make this a yearly trip and wouldn’t change a single thing.
