Very nice hotel, highly recommended
Pros:

The kindness of the staff
The location in town center
The restaurant and the breakfast buffet

Cons:

The wifi is not accessible from the restaurant room
The double bed is actually two twin beds pushed together

Chambre bien équipée, (avec machine à café et thé), propre, bien décorée et silencieuse, et très bonne literie.
Le petit déjeuner et complet, (sucré et salé).

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but had everything you needed.

Cons:

Not much to say here. The TV was small but I did not use it much. May matter to others.

Brilliant property. Everything we needed. Old building refurbished to high standard. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Fully aware we visited in a wet February and the room would have cost three times more during summer. Still
worth it for location etc

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Reine Mathilde. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bayeux, within easy walking distance of the historic center, shops, restaurants, and the Bayeux Tapestry, which made exploring the town extremely convenient.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Compared to many hotels in historic European towns, the room felt spacious and thoughtfully arranged. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is charming and quiet, making it easy to relax after a full day of sightseeing.

Cons:

here was nothing to dislike—everything met or exceeded expectations.

It was perfect for what we needed and we enjoyed our stay. We will suggest it to others.
Pros:

It was right in the middle of town. The hotel restaurant was good food and off the Main Street so it was quiet. We could see the cathedral right out of our window.

Cons:

The room and hallways were tight but very comfortable in the room. Someone informed us of a newer part of the hotel which we would choose next time
