The Mill Hotel

Çok çok mükemmel bir hotel Ailece bu hotelde konaklamaktan çok çok memnun kaldık...

Mycket lugnt och trevligt, genuint hotell. Mycket stora generösa rum och härlig frukost.

An atmospheric hotel set in a beautiful location and filled with history. Our room was wonderfully spacious, private & comfortable with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was also excellent.

I always enjoyed the Mill restaurant when I lived in Cyprus long time ago. Last time I was in Cyprus , the hotel was under construction so when I decided to visit Cyprus this year , I made sure to stay at the hotel for a night. The hotel is fabulous , it is clean, well designed, it is walking distance from other restaurants and cafes, and the staff are very friendly. Looking forward for future visits.

This is a very nice small hotel in a fantastic area. Our room overlooks a small valley with a creek and we can hear the running water. Evenings are very cool and pleasant. The restaurant overlooks the small valley and is very good. We had local trout and was good. The reception is not continuously staffed but that is a minor issue. I will gladly return.

Globalement, je nai rien a reprocher au Mill, si ce n'est le torrent super bruyant qui coule à son pied. Sans double vitrage, ça peut gêner certains (dont moi). Les deux dîners furent tres moyens : truites nageant dans le beurre et moule marinières avec une sauce plus près de la béchamel ! Petit dejeuner très bien.

We booked last minute at the Mill hotel and we’re really happy about our room, the sound of the stream outside and the friendly staff. The old winding streets of the village is also worth strolling through.

Hotel in stile un po' alpino un po' coloniale, ottima base per visitare la zona del Troodos e le chiese affrescate. Camera spaziosa e confortevole, vasca idromassaggio ottima per riprendersi dalle escursioni. Il rumore del torrente sottostante quasi eccessivo per la notte, ma c'è una bella atmosfera ed il nucleo antico del villaggio è poco oltre la porta. Buon ristorante (anche per la cena non solo per la colazione) con panorama stupendo su Kakopetria. Qualche presa elettrica in più accanto al letto farebbe comodo...

We stayed at The Mill for a week, and loved every minute. The setting is incomparable, high over a river that rushes over rocks, with the village of Kakopetria below, which has lovely walking paths. Our room was spacious--we lived there comfortably for a week, traveling each day for research and returning to record, register, and process data at night; the furnishing of the hotel is tasteful and beautifully arranged for use; the staff are warm and smart and very friendly; the cuisine is both delicious and nourishing, be it for breakfast, lunch, or above all dinner. We left The Mill early this morning, and we already miss it. We thought it was wonderful.

Φανταστικό κατάλυμα με πολλές ανεσεις, καθαρό, οι υπάλληλοι πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και υπέροχο φαγητό!! Θα το ξαναπροτιμησω σίγουρα!

It is a very unique property. Nice restaurant but a bit pricey for Cyprus. Nice breakfast, nothing too much trouble, staff are very friendly & helpful. The room we stayed in was quite dusty, windows & sills dirty, carpets stained. I don’t like the blankets & bedspreads on beds, better duvet & cover that can be washed after every visit.

We arrived at 1pm and was told that we could not check-in until 2pm as the roomwasnotready. We had no problem with that and came back at 2pm, which we were told again that the room was not ready still and waited until 2:30pm to check-in.

Apart from that we had a good overall experience, clean rooms, Beautiful views of the village and breakfast was good.

Beautiful old hotel, the materials used for the building are not invasive to the traditional village of Kakopetria, not found offen these days!
Also location is great just over the river and the beautiful rich trees!
