how was the reviews for the breakfast good, the taste was ok, but it was so little and weird. the personell was not present. overall ranking: disappointed for a lot of money.
This hotel is in a perfect spot just off the motorway in lovely countryside. The staff are excellent. We had only booked an hour before and asked for dinner, despite being fully booked with a large celebration group they fitted us in. The service was excellent, the food was superb and we would never have known they were under pressure. It really shows that the quality of this family run hotel. We have stayed here before and will again.

A clean and spacious room, helpful staff, parking on site, delicious evening meal and breakfast
Very Attentive Staff (All of them).
Old style with loads of history inside
Couldn’t say there is anything I dislike there
Breakfast was good.
I paid for a single room but was given a double.
Staff were very pleasant.
Breakfast was on the expensive side.
The attic room I stayed in had a velux window which had a blind but it did not really block the light.
Everything, the food, comfort, service and facilities were 2nd to none.
I didn't find anything wrong over the 5 days I stayed.
overall the hotel was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful ,the breakfast was good and served with a smile.
location was excellent for my needs set in nice gardens but still close to the town
All ok for my needs
Excellent meals
We stayed a night here on the way to Fort William. The hotel was comfortable and friendly and the staff welcomed us and our dog. We enjoyed the meals and it was convenient that there was a bar. There is a lovely nature reserve a 10 minute walk away.
