Conveniently located hotel with lovely staff
Pros:

The location right next to the main train station is very central. It’s about a 15‑minute walk down to the river. The upper bridge over the Douro can also be reached in less than 10 minutes. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. The reception is staffed around the clock. The rooms are stylishly furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is served in little boxes at an arranged time and you can have them customized for an additional charge. There are also plenty breakfast locations around if you don't want to bother.

Cons:

You should be aware that there is currently a major construction site around the main train station because a metro line is being expanded. It is supposed to be finished by the end of 2025 but as is often the case with major projects, everything is being delayed by several months/years. As a result, there is constant construction noise during the day. Since we were out and about all day, it didn’t bother us.
The furniture is a bit worn, and the carpet is light and delicate, which makes it quite stained. A different color and material would ease that problem. There were slight traces of mould in the grout of the shower.

포트루 다시 가면 여기서 또 묵을 거예요!

Pros:

숙소 위치가 너무 좋았어요. 직원분들이 너무 친절하셨어요. 바로 앞이 공사중이지만 사운드 프루프된 창문들이라 닫으면 조용했어요.

Cons:

세탁기가 있어서 좋았는데 건조기도 있었으면 더 좋았을꺼 같아요.

サンベント駅すぐでなんといっても立地が最高すぎました！部屋もグレードアップしてくれていて、広さ、清潔さ、見晴らし、どれもよかったです。部屋に洗濯機も付いていて、旅で溜まった洗濯物も洗えました。
フロントで寛ぐとかはできないですが、それも私達は困りませんでした。スーツケースは預かってもらえました。
ポルトに行く際はまたお伺いしたいです。

Все - и достопримечательности, и кафе-рестораны, и вечерние мероприятия - в шаговой доступности.
Сам номер - удивил своим дизайнерским решением. Очень неожиданно, и все очень удобно и комфортно!!
Персонал - выше всяких похвал. Не только показали и рассказали про номер и его возможности, но парень принес карту - и рассказал - куда и как пройти!
Жалко, что были в Порту только ночь, с удовольствием бы задержались))

Memorable slow travel in Porto and surroundings!
Pros:

I initially booked for 5 nights, but ending up staying 10. The place is super centrally located and you can easily make day-trips to various locations (Coimbra, Braga, Guimares, Geres National Park, Aveiro, Foz, the Douro Valley). Porto is an excellent base if you don't want to be moving from one hotel to another, which can be exhausting. As a female solo traveler it felt very safe, which is important to me. I stayed here because the hotel was sooo clean and I'm kind of a neat freak, and was fresh and smelled very good. I felt more comfortable in their bed than in my own sheets! The staff was also very friendly and the people at the reception gave me nice tips on what to see and where to eat, which was much appreciated. The hotel was on the pricier side than what I was used to - it was my first experience in a mid-range hotel as a young professional. I have no regrets! If you want to treat yourself to a nice place that is right next to the Bento train station, it is the place to be. Oh yes, and you might be wondering: is it too loud at night, since we are in the main tourist hub? I am a very light sleeper and sensitive to sound and I was not bothered by it - the building is super well sound proofed. And if you are into brutalist architecture, you'll love the design of this place. Thanks S. Bento residences for such a memorable experience.

Cons:

Nothing - just a few suggestions for the hotel: maybe add some hooks outside the shower to hang the towels and provide bathrobes. That would really elevate the experience.
