Very good
The design of the room, the housekeeping, the breakfast and the indoor kids zone (playground).
The hotel is difficult to access. All the roads of the town are rough, dusty, and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, we found the surrounding area to be unfinished and poorly developed (years after the hotel opened). The hotel itself lacks of the facilities typically associated with a premium accommodation, no pool and no attractive views. The rooms are also equipped with neither ventilation nor air conditioning, and the mini bar was empty. That’s ok, and we could have known from a quick research and also from the price. Also the room was clean, well designed and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. Though I would rate the place with a maximum of 3 stars.
Our experience:
The overall atmosphere was chaotic and far from relaxing. In the afternoon/evening, many guests appeared to treat the hotel more as a party destination than a retreat. Excessive drinking and smoking were commonplace, and there were numerous visitors on the premises who did not appear to be hotel guests (the hotel restaurant and bar seem to attract people from all over the town). Cars continued to arrive and depart late into the night, often accompanied by engine noise, loud music, honking, and general disturbance. Groups of teenagers played music on the hotel terrace from own portable speakers. What we found particularly concerning was the apparent need for police intervention on both evenings during our stay. Sirens, shouting outside, disturbances in the hallways, and loud arguments created an environment that felt neither safe nor family-friendly. Also the balcony door in our room could not be locked (missing Key).
The infrastructure, facilities, management, and overall guest and visitor behaviour fall below what travellers would reasonably expect. Rather than feeling like a premium hotel, the atmosphere often resembled that of a crowded youth hostel.
The Place was good, and I will visit it again
