まず、気に入らなかった点ではなく、気になった点として記載します。
画像ではわかりにくいですが、建物は古かったです。
それに付随して、付属の設備も古くなってきています。
気になるのは、ユニットバスの隅々にある取れなくなっているであろうカビです。
そして窓も年代を感じますし、外部の音が聞こえやすいです。
不潔なものはありませんが、総評として言えば、神経質な方にはお勧めしません。
老朽化しているので、それなりです。
また近隣で食事処も少ないので、観光案内所等の活用や事前のリサーチやが必須です。
奄美大島自体がそんなに都会ではないので、普通のホテルではないかと感じました。

立地が良く、食事や土産物購入に便利。建物・設備はくたびれたところがあり、壁紙の一部が剥がれているところがあるが、実質的に困ることなく、リーゾナブルな料金。朝食は前日に頼めば７時から１階の食堂で摂れるのもGood！

部屋が、とにかくタバコ臭い。壁紙にタバコの匂いが染み付いてて、タバコを吸わない人には辛い宿泊が待ってます。

設備は古いがまあそこそこ。
Pros:

設備はかなり古く、床や壁の傷みが目立つ。ただ、比較的綺麗に掃除されている。風呂のリンスインシャンプーとボディーソープは、クオリティーが低い。朝食は和定食で、普通。窓が完全に開くので風が入って来て良いが、網戸がないので虫も入って来る。道路に面した北側はややうるさい。フロントでチェックイン時に対応してくれた若い女性は、丁寧で良い対応であった。港まで徒歩7分、スーパーやコンビニも徒歩5～8分で、お土産店や郵便局も近いし、バス停もすぐそば。ロケ―ションはベスト。

Pros:

禁煙部屋でしたが　なんとも言えない面白い臭いがする部屋でした。　ユニットバスで　排水溝が流れにくいのも気になりました。
とりあえず寝るだけで泊まるならいいと思います。
