the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had

Cons:

I traveled for work and unfortunately had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
I was initially assigned a room with a sealed window. The room had a strong cleaning product smell and felt poorly ventilated. As someone who is claustrophobic, there was no way I could spend the night in those conditions. I asked the staff to change my room to one with a window that could be opened.
I was then given another room, but I was shocked to find that it smelled strongly of cigarettes, despite the visible signs indicating that smoking is not permitted. The following day, I was assigned a third room with a window, yet it also had a noticeable cigarette smell. Even the sheets smelled of smoke, and I was unable to sleep because of it.
This is my first and last stay at Ibis Morocco. I would like to mention that the staff were friendly and tried to help, but overall the hotel did not meet basic cleanliness standards.
