The view is astonishing. The staff are friendly. They let us borrow their bike to see around kota batu.
There was no breakfast, but for the price I didn't expect a breakfast. The owner was very gracious and treated us well. The room is pretty basic, but comes with a TV, AC, and WIFI among all of the expected things like a bed and bathroom. The owner apologized for forgetting to stock the room with a fresh roll of toilet paper. It is not a 4 or 5-star hotel so if you don't compare it to a Marriott, you'll appreciate the value it offers.
The bed wasn't a hard Asian bed, but it didn't have the pillow-top comfort I prefer. The sink had a leak which I fixed by tightening the drain pipes. The sink was very small. The address for the hotel is incorrect so that caused some issues in finding it. It is located adjacent to the entry gate, not in the neighborhood where the address is located. It also has some parking, so the information in booking.com was incorrect about no parking which caused a little anxiety on the way to the hotel.
Location is best. right in the center, easy to travel anywhere.

The room is clean, the view from the room is just amazing. The location is strategic, just next to Balaikota, near to Museum Angkut, Jatim Park 1 and 2.
But the most special about this hotel is its hospitality. Pak Bayu and family are so sincere and wholeheartedly serving the guests. I couldn't thanks enough for their help.
Will return to this hotel whenever I visit Batu again.
Nothing. Everything are good.
Even though language was a barrier the owner is a good-hearted person. We arrived early in the morning and we immediately checked-in, even though checking in was at 14.00. He even offered us his motorbike in case we wanted to go around the city.
The room was fine, as it had Aircon and warm water to shower. Nothing fancy but for us was ok.
