Kleine Tiere auf den Böden, leichter Schimmel an der Decke, kein Druck auf der Wasserleitung der Dusche. Es hat leicht feucht in der Unterkunft gerochen.

Die Unterkunft war extrem hellhörig. Durch Löcher neben der Tür in der Wand kamen so nicht nur Insekten problemlos hinein, sondern auch jegliche Geräusche. So wurden wir um 5:00 morgens von der sich offenbar in der Nähe befindenden Moschee geweckt. Weiter ging es dann mit Hähnen, die bis spät nachts durchkrähten. Hinzu kamen abends dann auch noch bellende Hunde und andere uns nicht identifizierbare Tiergeräusche.
Wichtiger Hinweis bezüglich der Hunde: Schuhe oder andere Gegenstände von Bedeutung niemals nachts draußen stehenlassen! Uns wurde ein Schuh verschleppt, welcher sich Gott sei Dank jedoch wieder angefunden hat.
Das Bad war eher dreckig, an der Decke hangen verschieden große Spinnen und die Wände waren befleckt. Zudem hatten wir abends sehr geringen Wasserdruck, weshalb wir mit einer tröpfelnden Dusche klarkommen mussten. Außerdem gab es keine Klobürste. Eines der von der Unterkunft bereitgestellten Handtücher hatte Flecken und ein kleines Loch.

Uns ist klar das wir für den Preis keine hohen Erwartungen haben sollten, allerdings haben wir für ähnlich wenig Geld hier schon deutlich besseres erlebt. Ein funktionierender Wasserhahn und gewisse Sauberkeitsstandards gehören für uns zu einer guten Unterkunft dazu und das war leider hier nicht für uns zufriedenstellend gegeben.

Neben der Unterkunft gibt es einen Tempel oder Moschee und es war bis 10 Uhr abends wahnsinnig laut. Anscheinend wurde dort gerade eine Feier abgehalten.
Der Boden des Zimmers war sauber aber die Wände schmutzig, und die Toilette unten nicht dicht.
Wir haben uns hier nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt und haben die Unterkunft nach einer Nacht gewechselt.

Bastante deteriorado

This one is a lot longer, but I dont want anyone else to be blindsided by the high reviews and nice pictures like I was.

The homestay was extremely difficult to find, even for an experienced taxi driver. When I stated that my travel companion was not with me (and honestly, I was grateful for that as I was travelling with my 21 y/o son) all the staff were concerned about was that there were 'no refunds', despite my assurances I was not requesting one. This was the only time I saw them during my stay.

My room was of a poor standard - a hole in the ceiling, cigarette burns and tears in the bedding, no cover on the doona, lumpy beds, the room was open to mosquitos, a tap that simply dribbled water, a toilet that leaked water all over the bathroom floor, a filthy open aired 'shared kitchen', mouldy ceiling, walls, curtains and bathroom, lipstick drawn on the walls, railings and fencing so rickety that they almost gave way when touched, and electrical sockets I was afraid to touch. The scary part is, I could go on. I began looking for other accommodation, but there was little available and I was only there 2 nights so I thought I'd stick it out.

The driver booked by the homestay the next day took me 2 of the 3 places I had asked to go (he refused the third, even though the manager had assured me it was organised). He rushed me through both, to the point of physically 'guiding' me and taking photos with my phone of the scenery as if I was unable to do so myself. When he discovered I was single, the conversation took an uncomfortable turn. I am sure it was a language miscommunication that he kept asking me for 'boom boom', even offering to pay me for it.

The next day I asked to be moved to the other room I'd paid for. It took an hour for the owner to arrive to let me in to the room, while I looked in vain for nearby accommodation for the evening. He finally arrived with a plug in mosquito repellent.

Bad Smell in the toilet, cleaning standards are very very basic, so go with humble expectations.

Wifi was not working properly

Nearby guest were loud and made inappropriate noise for 1 night (this was not the homestay fault)

the door was broken and faulty- they kindly assisted to fix, however many items remained broken/run down

The street to go there leads you to walk for the majority across soil, garbage (everywhere sadly), farm animals, traffic. Would suit some people, yet not everyone.

Mouldy pillows, mouldy room and bathroom, cockroach in bathroom, ac didn’t get very cold, loads of mosquitos in the room and no net. We had to check out a day early and stay somewhere else. Its cheap but not worth the price
