traditional old style pub/hotel

Cons:

using very high fire escape stairs to get in and out, light off in bathroom, bad draft from single glassed windows, no breakfast or meal available for the day were there.

Bad for people who need an invoice with a specific address on it!
Pros:

There is a charming pub inside.

Cons:

Radiator pipes leaking in the bathroom.
Looks like since months due to rust.
Awful communication regarding the invoice. They just react on calls … not emails or messages via booking.
I needed an invoice with my companies name and address on it … no chance … they even don’t reply to the booking customer service.
Thats really bad situation if you want to get the money back from a business trip. Due to no lobby or reception people in the morning there is no direct contact possible.

Comfortable stay and good value; a few things to iron out.
Pros:

Lovely old building- spacious room- nice partial view
Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Using fire escape for access/egress outside hours of 22.00-09.00. No one available between these hours- hotel phone not forwarded (just rings in the bar)
No breakfast available.
No sink plug. Bottle of shower gel, as dispenser not filled up or broken?
Window frames could do with a wipe.

Great Location for a stay in Horwich
Pros:

Room was huge with a double bed and 2 single beds with a large bathroom and the shower was superb

Cons:

No issues at all, but several flights of stairs as we were on the top floor

Pros:

Absolutely nothing, think I'm being harsh? We were kept up by two party's on 2 different floors untill 1.30am, we were trying to cope with this when the fire alarm went off for about an hour and we left the hotel in the middle of the night, no help from the staff who were all drinking and didn't seem to care. The main issue I had was there was 0 running water. Very unhygienic and very unhappy.

It was all lovely, clean and plenty of hot water. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Could have had a couple more shelves in the bathroom and a couple more soft pillows

Didnt stay gir brekie .. had early start!

Cons:

Nothing to add .. bed really comfy with great sheets .. bathroom clean and lots of towels ! Grrat vibe in the hotel !
