A pleasant stay with a comfortable bed and a hot shower with good water pressure! Great value too!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, always saying "good morning" and wishing me a good day. If I had to wait whilst they served other guests, they would always acknowledge that they were aware that I was there and that they would be with me shortly. I loved that I was upgraded to a larger room and that I was given a complimentary bottle of wine.

Cons:

There are a few little details that require some maintenance that I didn't get a chance to share with the venue. Little things like some bathroom fittings that needed to be tightened and a shelf in the refrigerator that was cracked.

Location was perfect. 1 block away from a train/tram station and Albert park with only 3km between you and the city.

Cons:

The air conditioner unit was locked and you couldn’t adjust the temperature lower than 20. I also believed we were eligible for a continental breakfast which we didn’t receive.

It was not clear on the site that it was cereal in a box,

Cons:

There was no breakfast just an on-the-go breakfast pack that was supposed to be a continental breakfast which was a cereal a bowl and spoon to eat on the go. Better not to bother. The website said parking but there was an additional charge of $25.00 per day for parking which was not made clear on the site. I was given a room key for 216 but my actual key was marked 203. Generally, the place was not very clean. The room was not made up each day I was advised when I rang that I could go to reception and get new towels and sheets if required. This if advertised as no frills that would be more appropriate. If there was no one at the desk, you could sit waiting to get into the carpark until someone was available. I had to ring on two occasions. I have stayed in other accommodation in the area which was a better standard. I would not stay again
