Awful place, trip ruined
Pros:

This place is a dive. If you can afford it go elsewhere.
The space I booked was not given to me even tho I booked weeks in advance. They never pre informed me nor even told me that the space I booked was unavailable-when I arrived just gave me a cheaper shit room until I was like wtf this isn’t what I booked. Then they said they would refund me $50. Totally ruined the one night I stayed. Awful

Pros:

I’ve stayed at Manly Waves Studios & Apartments many times and it’s always been a great experience. The location is fantastic—close to Manly Beach, cafés, and the ferry. The studios are clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed stay. Theo is a wonderful host who is always welcoming and helpful. I’m always happy to return and highly recommend it.

Pros:

Great location near Manly beach ⛱️. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Good undercover parking in a carport. Clean cute studio with kitchen sink and balcony. Owner Theo very friendly guy and welcoming.

Cons:

Lots of stairs to get to room 6. Took me 2 loads to get stuff up.

Overall, for the money we outlaid, this stay was extremely disappointing.
Pros:

The location was great the property was disgraceful.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations for the price we paid:

• The front buzzer did not work

• There were clumps of hair left in the shower which we had to clean ourselves

• The shower grout was extremely dirty

• The left shower tap fell off and bruised my daughter’s foot

• Black soot was falling through the bedroom vent holes onto us

• No dishwashing tablets were provided, so we had to use washing detergent to clean dishes

• The TV was non-functional due to a broken remote, which was disappointing with two children staying

• The bed was filled with sand and dirt

• The microwave was filthy and had to be wiped out before use

• The saucepan provided was only suitable for one person, making it extremely difficult to cook a family meal

• Food left in the fridge and freezer was unacceptable

• Dirty tissues were found inside the futon in the lounge

• The smell of smoke (weed) from neighbouring rooms while our young girls were on the balcony was very disturbing

Overall, this was an upgrade room and for the money we outlaid, this stay was extremely disappointing.
