Pros:

Very close to Cerro Chirripó entrance. The cabinas are very nice, but too far from the main hotel and we only could bring our car after we asked.

Was a bit hard to fine..better signage would be beneficial. Closest hotel to Cero Chirripo. Host was WONDERFUL..great communication. Accommodations are basic but the cabins have refrig/microwave. CLEAN and comfortable.

Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. Idealer Start- und Endpunkt für die Chirripó-Besteigung. Sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Es gibt Frühstück zum Mitnehmen und ich konnte mein großes Gepäck, das ich nicht für die Wanderung brauchte, dort lassen.

Allradauto ist hier nötig und wer ganz ohne Auto unterwegs ist, benötigt einen Transfer oder Mitfahrgelegenheit vom Dorf aus oder vom Büro der Nationalparkverwaltung. Die Straße ist extrem steil.

Perfect place to stay if you are headed to hike Cerro Chirripo. Hotel owner and staff were great and very accommodating. Food was great and they will even get your meals ready the day prior for a long day of hiking. Great experience

Da es sich um ein Budget Hotel handelt darf man seine Ansprüche nich zu hoch setzen.
Es war sauber und der Eigentümer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen gut und preiswert.
Ich würde wieder dort am Chirripo übernachten.

excellent value for the money. probably the best wifi we eencountered in the whole country in five weeks, including much more expensive hotels. Access road quite a feat, try to arrive before darkness.
