Nicely designed, great views. Super quiet residential neighborhood. Ubers available in 3 to 5 minutes every time.

Cons:

Pool not super warm. But it was march. So normal I think.

Como pequeño detalle a mejorar, el agua de la alberca estaba un poco fría. Aun así, fue una estancia muy disfrutable.
Pros:

Una experiencia muy agradable. Las instalaciones son realmente lindas y bien cuidadas, lo que hace que la estancia sea aún más especial. La habitación estaba impecable, muy limpia y cómoda. Un detalle que me encantó fue la calidad del shampoo y acondicionador, ¡definitivamente un 10 de 10! Además, el personal fue siempre muy amable y servicial, haciendo que todo fuera aún más placentero. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería.

Cons:

Hay bastantes escaleras, lo cual puede ser un poco pesado, especialmente para personas mayores. Sin embargo, las vistas que tiene el hotel definitivamente lo valen.

Cons:

This hotel is unsafe to stay at. It also doesn't qualify as a 5-star hotel, in my opinion.
1. The room was poorly cleaned, with dust and dirt on the floor.
2. Sleeping in the room ("El Santo") was unsafe because there was a glass installation hanging overhead that was just a step away from falling. It was secured with a single screw, which had already come out of the wall.
3. The hotel stairs are very steep, and there's no elevator. There was no assistance with our suitcases upon check-in. Upon check-out, we tried to ask for help with our suitcases, but no one answered in the morning. There was some construction worker at the reception who didn't understand English.
4. Upon check-out, I was injured (thankfully only slightly) while carrying my suitcases up the stairs. Again, since the receptionist was a complete stranger, I received no assistance or response.
5. The AC was barely working in our room.
6. The public jakuzzi contains bird poops and nobody cleans it.

UPD: No refunds or "sorry" from the hotel. That is enough to know the quality of service.

It was wonderful! 5 stars!
Pros:

The property is adults only, located approximately 5 minutes south by taxi/Uber of the Romantic Zone, in Conchas Chinas, Mexico. A lovely neighborhood with villas and views of Banderas Bay. The staff was extremely friendly, and went out of their way while I was there during an atypical cartel presence in Puerto Vallarta. I’ve been going to Puerto Vallarta for nearly 20 years, and this was the first time ever of such an event. I never felt like I was in danger. The staff kept us feed with drinks. I made lasting connections with others staying in Patio Azul at the same time.

Cons:

The gym could have been larger with equipment facing the water.

Pros:

A stunning fusion of traditional and modern Mexican design. Panoramic ocean and sunset views. Great breakfasts and margaritas! Quiet and peaceful away from the hustle. Attentive and professional staff.

Cons:

One Caution: lots of stairs — if you you have mobility issues. No elevator.
