Pros:

We had an amazing stay at this renovated historical house in the old village near Barcelona. Pilar and David were super friendly and made us feel at home. The place is stylish, artsy, and spotless. The breakfast was delicious too.

Friendly host. Nice fruit at breakfast. It is one man's art church not a hotel.

Cons:

Almost no natural light. Could not understand which rooms can be used by guests and which are private. We were discouraged to use the kitchen but on Sunday of fiesta there were no restaurants open so no dinner. Main door needs a key to get out so big problem in case of fire. Breakfast is good but hard to understand what is available so we had small omelette for three days, randomly with cheese, no toast. A hotel should have written guidance about the facilities, and a breakfast menu for the choices available, and comfortable chairs, and more... Honestly it is not good enough to be called a hotel.

The house itself, the room, the kitchen, the amability and service of the owners, all food served local

Cons:

room can be a bit cold in winter (but very warm bed so no cold at night), but seems is mostly the one we were that is hard to heat due to the space, and they will close it for winter

Serene and colourful. The town is incredibly charming. A quiet and friendly stay in the true heart of Spanish sparkling wine, Corpinat! The hosts warm and welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Highly recommended!

It has lots of history yet it felt like home. Beautiful bedroom and the library is a wonderful place to sit and relax. It’s located in the center of a pretty town.
