Hotel Resol Ueno

Overall stay was good, room was small but quaint and well thought out. It was visibly very clean, bathroom especially, however it seems that the non-high touch areas such as lamps, windowsills, etc have not been dusted in quite while. I opened the window to check the temperature outside and a bunch of dust lifted from the frame. Then when I started looking around I noticed the lamps had dust all over them.

Extra amenities were great, hot tea and pastries/soup in the lobby for free as well as toiletries! Location was perfect, 2 minute walk from Ueno station which is on the Yamanote line!

This is a fantastic and convenient hotel that was so convenient for my first exploration of Tokyo!!! Staff was so kind and helpful, everything was perfectly clean. And it is so close to the Ueno train station making everything so convenient and easy to get around! 10/10!

Very friendly staff how were super helpful throughout my stay. Great location in an area with wonderful transport links, but tucked away on a slightly quieter street which was perfect.

My family stayed here for 4 days and we loved it! Great location, literally next to a train station and Family Mart. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a lot of space. The only reason I removed one star is bcos of the housekeeping never took out our trash or cleaned the room. They only changed our sheets but besides that everything was great!

Great location! Close enough to lots of shopping and dining options but far enough away to be quiet.

Property is conveniently located. Rooms feel a bit small, compared to other properties, but the staff are extremely helpful, and nice. Breakfast provided is very basic, but overall I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location very close to Ueno station. Great-sized room and bathroom, very modern decor, everything was in great condition. Bed was extremely comfy and we slept well every night of our stay. The area was quiet at night but very close to a range of things to do. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for an affordable, well-located stay in Tokyo!

Me and my teenage son stayed for 5 days and I was satisfied with the place and staff. Everyone is so helpful and the place is fairly new with a comfy bed. It's also conveniently located near places to eat and the train stations.

The room was small and can get a little warm in the afternoon . I purchased the breakfast and it's a nice variety of food though my son liked the freshly baked/warmed bread.

This is a decent Tokyo stopover if you are traveling by rail after arrival at Narita, or the night before departure. Across the street from Ueno Station with Keisei Skyliner connection to Narita every 20 minutes, and frequent train connections to everywhere in Japan. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Ueno Park and its zoo and museums are a 10 minute walk on the other side of the station .

The bed is comfortable. The room is small, but clean and bright and air conditioned. Standard amenities. Only one electrical outlet plus one in the bathroom.

Friendly staff, clean, very close to dining, shops and the train station. They brought us clean towels every day but no one cleaned or emptied out the trash cans.

What I like about this hotel is the location. It is near Keisei Skyliner station and a lot of restaurants around the hotel. If you are traveling to Tokyo because of food and shopping this is the perfect hotel for you. But of course don’t expect a spacious room. Also, if u need clothes iron, you need to collect them from front desk. They do provide complete toiletries essentials which are available at the hotel lobby. Overall, will stay in this hotel again because of it’s location.

I loved this hotel. Nice friendly staff, good amenities and good convenient location to JR train station. Walking distance from Ueno park.

Easy check in and they held my luggage till I could check in. Didn’t try the free croissant or soup but both looked good. Close to Ueno station and lots of food options nearby.
