Great Stay at Super8 in Hearst Ontario "
Pros:

If Snowmobiling threw Hearst Ontario stay at the Super 8 , we had an excellent time, clean rooms, pool and breakfast, bar with restaurant right next door at the Companion " they also have a heated garage to but you Snowmobile in for a small fee .... Excellent stay...

Cons:

I told them I needed to extend my stay and the front desk person said it was ok and I keep my room but the. When I was at work the next day they called me a said I need to change rooms. Very bad customer service and I will not stay there anymore.

Stayed there a number of times over the years and will definitely be back next trip to Thunder Bay.
Pros:

Breakfast selection was great.
Excellent room location per request due to limited mobility of one guest.
Staff were very accommodating.
Facility fairly well maintained despite its age.

Cons:

Noisy on second floor above room 270 very early in morning. Didn't need alarm clock even though the one supplied in the room did not work.
Municipal accommodation tax is a cash grab from the Town of Hearst, which has little to offer for travelers who in addition to paying for accommodations, spend money in stores, restaurants and gas stations during their stay.

Pros:

There was half eaten food and drinks and clothes etc from a previous guest. And we told staff to come take the items and they seemed confused. Yet we spoke to another guest who said they were given the before us but found the items in the room and were moved to another room. So they did nothing to the room and put us in there. Gross to know the room had not been cleaned properly but we were too tired to move rooms and just had the staff remove the items.

Cons:

Staff not helpful, not friendly, couldn’t understand me although I was speaking English, and when we checked out and I tried to let another girl know what happened, she more or less said I should be understanding instead of helping us
