A very comfortable and happy stay.
Pros:

This hotel has been well refurbished and refreshed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean bright and airy room. Bathroom very clean with a good shower. Good selection of tea/coffee & biscuits in the room. The breakfast was very nice and well cooked. There was also plenty of free car parking space too.

Cons:

For the price of my stay, nothing!

Comfortable stay with SUPER staff
Pros:

Aphrodite! She was the kindest, most helpful receptionist I have ever encountered! All the other staff was incredibly friendly as well, and the cooked breakfast was great every morning. The bed was nice and comfortable.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small and it was a little strange to have the sink outside of the bathroom. It was nice to have the tea kettle provided, but the cord didn't extend to the plug, so I had to rest it on the floor, which was strange.

Basic accomodation at a good price
Pros:

Excellent breakfast served by (very busy!) pleasant lady.

Cons:

Location of hotel, right next to busy road and traffic lights means lots of traffic noise (thankfully earplugs were provided in each room!) Overcharged for drinks at the bar on the night we arrived.

I will never ho back to that place again
Pros:

Nothing really…

Cons:

Rooms are too small old looking, needs to be redecorated. In the first room we have got there were a horrible smell coming from somewhere down. Like someone died in that room, a horrible smell! I literally never complain but I couldn’t bear that smell, it didn’t come from outside as the windows were closed it came from the carpet between the bed and the bedside unit and also under the bed. I went down to the reception to get some help with it. Which I still regret as they did make me a bit more uncomfortable than I was before. One of the receptionist went up to the room to check I wanted to go with her to show where the smell coming from but she said no, then she came downstairs and said there is no smell in the room. It was very uncomfortable like I was lying or something about the smell.. which I can’t see why would I? Never mind eventually we’ve got another room that was smelling lovely and was very clean…
There was a bar downstairs which was always empty during the day after breakfast. No one was in there all day. No food only drinks you could get, so we had to order a takeaway. As the room was very small, we asked the receptionist if we could use one of the table in the bar to eat our food? She looked at us and said, no, not in the communal area, sorry… (I mean what would have happened, right? No body would’ve seen it apart from her…) Never mind again we went up to the tiny room and had the most uncomfortable dinner ever… Thank you very much!

We were comfortable, but kept awake by very hot room and road noise. A good breakfast in the morning
Pros:

Very central. Comfortable bed. Great staff.

Cons:

The room was exceptionally hot and facing a busy intersection. The traffic noise was high and opening the windows made it worse.

We stayed here for the location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The car park was good. We would go back simpl
Pros:

The staff were very helpful & friendly.
The location was great for us, we were going to watch the saints rugby match.

Cons:

The hotel was in need of a refresh. It is an old building but would benefit from some upgrading. There was no restaurant, there are not many restaurants around this area of Northampton except pub restaurants or chain eateries. We stayed 2 nights and would have liked a restaurant in the hotel. There is a bar which we had a drink in but we were the only people using it. The breakfast was okay, the coffee wasn’t fresh it was an instant variety. The cooked breakfast was very tasty.

Probably won't return
Pros:

Location and that it seemed like no one else was staying there. Breakfast it was empty and during the stay we didn't hear anyone

Cons:

Shower took over 10minutes to go from cold to lukewarm but the sink had hot water, we only had one set of towels and the bed was way too soft we both had bad backs. Staff already knew about the shower issue when we said our room number so I'm puzzled why they gave us that room. We got a £20 refund as my partner didn't want breakfast

Great stay in Northampton
Pros:

Lovely staff, spacious rooms and a good value hotel. There was a party happening but the signs were clear and it was quite really clearly after the end.
