Location, Staff was nice

It’s a very wholesome property, calm, surrounded by nature, foods come straight from their garden. The spa is incredible and the women at the spa was absolutely adorable. The room is very nice (we had the one with the pool). Beautiful beaches just 15 min drive. It was the perfect break and relaxation we needed!

The resort is undeniably beautiful, private, and well situated within the Sardinian countryside. The heated pool is a nice touch, housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff are friendly when available. However, this is not a true 5-star, SLH, or Michelin-level experience. Service throughout our stay was consistently below expectations — staff were difficult to find around the pool, requests were often forgotten and breakfast orders were regularly incorrect. Both the breakfast and lunch fell well below Michelin standard, with breakfast including powdered scrambled eggs (!) and boiled eggs that arrived completely raw. Despite the Michelin branding displayed throughout the property, neither the breakfast or lunch reflected that level of quality.
The pool experience lacked basic comfort expected at this price point, with no cushions on the sun loungers. Overall, the service felt haphazard, and we did not feel the staff had been trained to a true 5-star standard. For example, you cannot order an alcoholic drink before 3pm as the barman starts at that time. We did raise some of these issues with the staff during our stay.

As frequent guests of luxury resorts, we found the overall experience impossible to justify at €500–900 per night. There was little recognition of our highest-tier membership status, and the “eco” positioning seemed overstated given the daily disposable plastic water bottles in rooms. On one occasion, a dog was allowed to roam freely around the main pool area and urinate in the gardens, which felt entirely inappropriate for a hotel positioning itself as a luxury resort. We also overheard numerous other guests discussing similar frustrations around apathetic service, food and incorrect orders, suggesting these issues are part of a wider problem. Ultimately, this is a beautiful 4-star countryside hotel with average food and service, but it falls far short of the luxury experience its pricing and branding suggest.

I really loved this place. I went for 10 days because I needed a proper break - and I absolutely got one. Beautiful setting, great lifestyle, lovely surrounding places. The food was fantastic and what made it really great were the people working there. I have stayed in lots of 5 star places and they can be impersonal and rigid. Cascione is different because it’s smaller and the people there are warm and good fun. I would recommend this place all day long.

The property is gorgeous and peaceful, set amongst a valley of olive trees. The rooms feel very private, clean and comfortable.

Great place to enjoy the Sardinian countryside. Very quiet, cozy, and with a great service, we had an amazing time.
The spa was really great, the room with the pool was nice and we ate really well.

Perfect oasis in north Sardinian hinterland. Convenient for coast and inland exploration. Well maintained and the heated pool an unexpected bonus.

Beautiful design and location with excellent staff and food. Relaxing atmosphere with extensive grounds to explore and beautiful views. Also worth taking advantage of the shuttle service to the sister restaurant Il Coti to experience local Sardinian food

This is the most incredible hotel nestled in the midst of the olive groves. Everything about thus retreat is perfect. Particularly the lovely garden that was attached to our room.

The hotel restaurants were fantastic and the free shuttle made a big difference. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved it.

This is a wonderfully relaxing, laid back hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had some excellent recommendations for local Restaurants and places to visit.
Our room had its own little pool and two sunbeds and we just chilled most days.
The room we had was very comfortable (apart from the pillows on the bed) and very well appointed. Coffee maker, kettle and little treats left every evening.
Breakfast was just ok. No granola or cereal (we went out to buy some)….not very much fruit - a bit of melon and some fresh figs. Lots of cake and different bread. You could order cooked breakfast, but I would have liked to see more fruit.
We didn’t use the main pool, it looked lovely though.
All in all a great few days of peace and tranquility.

Sehr schönes Anwesen, gepflegtes Ambiente, super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit sowie die schöne Anlage hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

I have trouble sleeping
Often waking up several times a night.
I noticed during a stay at the Retreat several years ago that I slept thru the night.
It was no fluke
Once again I have slept thru the night.
Also, dinner is fantastic
