Blue Bay Bungalow

The “hotel” is currently undergoing renovation. This meant the view and sounds were affected. Also, the room is directly situated directly in front of the path people walk between restaurants/beaches. Therefore the balcony was not private at all. The wifi was also not strong enough from the hotel.

Sometimes the service in the restaurant is a bit slow but I'm being picky but overall a perfect stay & would come back 100% to stay in the new furnished room.

Direkt am Bungalow war der Weg zum Restaurant und JEDER musste an unserem Bungalow vorbei. Gefühlt sind die Menschen über unsere Terrasse gelaufen. Ab 16:30 hat das Personal die Liegestühle angefangen zu stapeln und zwar direkt am Strand vor unserem Bungalow. Somit war ein Teil der Aussicht hinüber. Ab 06:30 morgens fangen sie an die Liegen wieder zu richten und die schweren Matten darauf „zu schmeißen“ dass man wach ist. Das dazugehörige Restaurant haben wir nur für einen Mittagssnack getestet und es ist durchgefallen. Das Sandwich war so hart dass man es nicht essen konnte. Haben dem Kellner Bescheid gegeben, aber das hat ihn nicht interessiert. Der Bungalow selbst war für das bezahlte Geld ok, aber man konnte den Aufenthalt nicht genießen.

I suggest anybody who can stay here does so before April 2026 as this bungalow is being removed due to the refurbishment of the resort.

Le petit déjeuner est trop cher

la stanza non corrisponde alle foto in quanto a condizioni, piena di umidità, senza zanzariere la porta è quasi rotta. è stato inglobato dal tamarid resort quindi ora davanti alle camere c'è il lido della struttura ed è zona di passaggio per il bar dove si fa la colazione del 4 stelle quindi no privacy e rumororissimo ( ci sono solo quelle tende gialle e quella lamina di vetro a separare dalla gente). È stato inglobato dal 4 stelle ma i servizi sono da meno zero tipo nella camera c'è il minbar con tutto a pagamento nemmeno l'acqua di cortesia. Se vuoi fare colazione ti propongono solo quella del 4 stelle ( a 20 euro al giorno a persona) quando in quasi tutti compreso il villaggio accanto villa samed ( della stessa proprietà) è inclusa nella stanza. Abbiamo avuto vari problemi per i quali alla fine abbiamo dovuto cambiare completamente camera e spostarci ma non ci siamo sentiti particolarmente compresi dalla struttura anzi abbiamo avuto la sensazione che volessero provare un po' a fregarci proponendoci soluzioni ambigue. Per i problemi ci hanno offerto un rimborso del 20% della prenotazione però onestamente per lo stress causato e il trattamento ricevuto ci è sembrato inadeguato. infatti avendo dovuto rinunciare alla vista mare e essendo stati spostati in un'altra stanza molto più lontana dal mare che probabilmente sarebbe costata anche meno e avrebbe avuto la colazione il rimborso ci pare il minimo altro che 20%. se dovete prenotare qui scegliete il tamarind verrete trattati meglio. ad onore del vero, come detto prima, lo staff ( non manager) ma i lavoratori del bar pulizia e reception sono veramente disponibili e professionali e si mangia molto bene presso il tamarind. lasciate perdere Blue Bay se ne stanno liberando ma vogliono sfruttare i due bungalow rimasti fino alla fine senza manutenzione.

Room was dark, dingy, damp with clear water damage. The water sports toys and staff can see directly in to where you sleep and relax with every guest regularly waking straight past your front door. There is no way they should be allowing people to pay any money to stay in this room that leaked when it rained, it also stunk and its location mere steps away from reception, any chance or relaxing or any privacy was nonexistent.

Al irnos, un trabajador fue cómplice para hacernos pagar más en el taxi: “ O pagas 50 por persona o esperas a que se llene el taxi hasta 10 personas”.

To begin with I felt disappointed as it wasn’t the room as shown in the picture. But after a day I settled down and thoroughly enjoyed it, views are incredible. Five steps and your on the beach, best beach around the island. Very quiet as well no loud music etc

The room (#1) is right next to the reception/restaurant area. Every morning from around 6am you can hear very loud sounds. There was construction directly behind the room as well which meant you heard talking voices and construction sounds all the time. The curtains do not block out the bright lights outside at night, and people walk/sunbathe directly outside of the room so there is no privacy. Ok for a few nights but not too comfortable.
