Unangenehm.

Met expectations
Pros:

Comfortable bed, goog nights sleep and lovely view from the room. Evening meals good and friendly helpful staff

Cons:

Cold tea and coffee daily with breakfast. Asked for breakfast order before even sitting down, why the rush?
No fruit on offer as stated and yoghurt in large bowl uncovered.
Hash browns more like popcorn

Pros:

We really liked that the town in the countryside and not overwhelmed with tourists. It felt like we were experiencing local life.

Their bar is cozy and the Scottish breakfast was very good.

There is a really quaint whiskey shop near t door. The owner really knows her whiskeys and provides free tastings. They also have a very good collection of collector single malt whiskeys.
There is also a very nice Indian Restaurant on the other side of the town square.

Pour une nuit ...
Pros:

Pros:

Manager was shart staffed in restaurant but was apologetic as he had been let down at last minute. It was a very busy time as hotel was booked out due to an event. Meal and staff were great.

Pros:

The staff was great and very friendly.

Cons:

The room was large, but outdated and in need of repairs. The bed was very uncomfortable, and we could hear everything going on in the bar since our room was one floor above it.
