Die Lage
An interesting hotel with a vibrant, contemporary atmosphere. The décor follows a modern, artistic style, featuring colorful murals, fluorescent artwork, and creative design elements throughout the property.
The room was comfortable, although not particularly spacious. It had a stylish, modern design, including a glass-enclosed - but totally visible - shower and bathroom area with curtains for privacy, though.
One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace, which offers a wide selection of drinks and pleasant, partially unobstructed views of the city skyline. While it's a great place to relax with a drink, I would recommend dining elsewhere, as there are many excellent restaurants nearby, especially in the Old Town.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. English proficiency varied, but communication was generally not a problem.
Access can be a little challenging, particularly if you're traveling by car, as the hotel does not provide parking.
The main drawbacks are related to access and the surroundings. The hotel can be a little difficult to find at first, with a rather discreet entrance (a small door), while the reception is located several floors above (on the 6th floor, if I remember correctly). There is a small service escalator intended for luggage, but it was not working during our stay, and one of the elevators was also out of order. As a result, waiting times for the elevators could become quite long.
The surrounding area is lively and can be noisy, with several bars located directly in front of the hotel that stay open late into the night. However, this was not an issue inside the room, as the sound insulation was very effective.
Overall, the location is actually very convenient, right in the city business district and within walking distance (around 15 minutes) of the Old Town and its main attractions.
Gute lage, ruhige Zimmer und dank Lüftungsanlage trotzdem kühl bei heißem Wetter. Netter Barbereich. Coole Dachterasse auch beim Frühstück. Freundliches Personal.
Das Frühstück war die 25 euro nicht wert. Verbesserungspotential:
- dürftige Obstauswahl: zu beginn nur Wassermelone, nach einer Stunde kamen dann noch Orangen
- grüngekochte Eier
- blasse Brötchen
Vielleicht ist es aber an anderen Tagen außer Montag auch besser.
Schönes großes Zimmer und alles sehr durchdacht und stylisch. Tolles Bett und große Dusche.
Leider keine Minibar oder andere Möglichkeiten direkt vor Ort Snacks oder Getränke zu bekommen, außer an der Bar und das war relativ teuer also eben Gastropreise. Check-In hat relativ lange gedauert durch die Gästeanzahl und früherer Check-In war nicht möglich.
