The room was clean, spacious, and the beds comfortable; location was amazing
The room we had featured an open bathroom with a separate shower and toilet, each with its own space, and a wash basin in the middle of both (and of the room), which is fine. However, the toilet door is not closed at the top and has no separation from the room, which is odd and honestly uncomfortable when you’re not staying alone in the room. Additionally, there is only one light switch that illuminates the shower, the toilet, and the wash basin area. When someone needs to go to the bathroom at night, the whole room is brightly lit.
Just came away for a cheeky night away. Have loved every moment ,the staff at the hotel were more than helpful and welcoming. We stayed in for the evening meal at Barrel and co.
The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Tasted amazing
Service out of this world!! Hard to come by these days
Top marks for the team at Pullman Rotorua 👏
Didnt have
Open plan layout with exposed toilet and shower.lack of minibar paper copy costing list.not a fan of bar code system.mini fridge loose on mountings
location. room space but needs more closet
car park too expensive
Very cosy and chic atmosphere. The food was nicely presented and delicious. The staff was friendly and professionnal. Would recommend for a night out as a couple.
Rooms and location good.
Bar prices were ridiculous. Every place in town so busy. It was dead. Bring the prices down if you want more people using it.
location was great
- breakfast was beyond busy
- bizarre room setup where toiler and shower are in your bedroom...
Very nice hotel with all the comforts you need
On site car parking is expensive, there is cheaper/free roadside but a small walk is required.
During our short two-night stay in Rotorua, we chose the Pullman hotel. It is located in the city centre and about a 20-minute drive from the airport.
Upon arrival, there was no porter available to help with the luggage. Since we had a rental car, we parked on the street where parking was free, although there was also the option of using the hotel’s garage for an additional fee.
Check-in was friendly and quick. We were assigned room #310. It was spacious, although the sitting area and wardrobe were poorly designed. The wardrobe, for instance, was quite small and offered limited storage space. However, the room had a contemporary and somewhat bold design: the bathroom counter, with a single sink, was set in an open-plan layout within the room. The toilet and shower were separate. The king bed was comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning worked well and quietly. Complimentary espresso coffee was available in the room. Filtered water was provided in the hotel lobby, which we had to collect ourselves to have it in the room. Housekeeping was efficient, but there was no turndown service.
The buffet breakfast served in the hotel’s only restaurant was reasonable, but we found it unacceptable that on one of the days the orange juice ran out at 9:30 AM and was never replenished.
Overall, we were pleased with this hotel and consider it one of the right places to stay in Rotorua.
The breakfast was amazing!!!
The newly changed bedding was dirty with stains and old blood spots. Manager said they will give us 25% off for this. Which they gave us like 10% off. So still waiting on a reply from them.
Also, why are the bathroom doors see through and does not stop any sound whatsoever? We became way more intimate as a new couple.
Love how toilet is separate from shower room.
Love how spacious the room is.
Great lobby, food is amazing, service is near excellent, apart from some minor issues such as blind spots such as the ammenities like the men’s bathroom faucet being a little out of wear and having a few lasting brown marks. The stuff is overall excellent.
Great stay, mitigates the Rotorua smell completely
Service was outstanding and the meal was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something a little more up market.
