The property is sheltered in the vines and with trees. It's very quiet, remote, but only 20 minutes drive from everything!
It is starting to look a bit aged. Odd patches and cut outs in the wall. They don't provide slippers and the gravel path pebbles are going to get on the wood floors. Even though we tried to wipe feet, it was a bit "rustic" inside.
Relaxing and quiet with beautiful rooms and views. The staff was very helpful.
Beautiful setting, facilities & staff. And wonderful to have no t.v.s
Nothing I didn’t like.
We traveled for a long weekend ( 4nocs 5 days)from the Northeast. Boston to be exact and we were not disappointed! Googled places for a romantic get away this popped up 10/10 would recommend! The music themed renovated shipping containers are AMAZING. From the inside it’s a luxury hotel with all the luxuries. Be prepared to unplug and relax and take in spectacular views of the winery. I travel with a SD and they welcomed him with dog bowls, fluffy towels and treats as well as poop bags ! So FYI they are dog friendly. The breakfasts are amazing and we sampled a few. Our favorites being the overnight oats accompanied by the French press coffee and orange juice our second favorite was the avocado toast. The happy hour each night with the charcuterie board is also a must as you get to sample the Cass wines! We shipped 5 back to Massachusetts after doing a tasting at the winery which I also recommended. As a guest you get to walk the property and it is just so peaceful and relaxing we loved the opportunity to do it! The staff was always friendly and greeted us. For other stuff to do we crammed as much as we could in the few days we had went to downtown Paso Robles ( restaurants, galleries etc) our next stop Morro Bay (Morro Rock, hiking), Sculpturra Winery, Tin City, Sensoria, Hearst Castle and Elephant seals. All in all can’t wait to go back and will definitely stay at Geneseo Inn again!!!
Great staff, great food and great wines!
This place was amazing! The rooms are beautiful and the complimentary breakfast they offer is very tasty and filling. The property has many amenities. The cafe offers many delectable foods and the wine tasting is amazing.
Such a peaceful and beautiful place! I will definitely be back!!!
The design and interiors. Very slick. Location and view of vines. Car parking under property.
Liked the perks for staying - wine tasting and discount at on site restaurant.
Wasn’t aware no tv but more of an issue for husband who wanted to watch golf.
Beautiful view, cool concept, awesome charcuterie and wine for cocktail hour, used the e-bikes to tour the winery, great sunset then had s’mores at the firepit, under the stars. Also ate at CASS for lunch beforehand.
Fantastic experience! Our mini house was super comfy, spacious, modern, with lots of natural light, and all possible amenities. The breakfast was delicious. The robes and blanket were very useful on the little patio; it gets cold at night if you want to stare at stars and enjoy some wine. The only thing that could be added as a cherry on top would be slippers 😁
The vineyard is beautiful even in winter; make sure to walk all the way to the pond to experience the wildest “sounds of nature” in real life. Seriously, those birds are performing! There are also cute feral cats (got to see 2 kittens!) and not so cute coyotes. Good that the house is raised above a parking spot. I wouldn’t want to be watched by a pack of howling coyotes at night.
We also did archery and axe throwing; great fun, thank you Chase. In general, all personnel are awesome. Sophia, Jennifer, morning breakfast delivery person and cleaning stuff (sorry, didn’t get your names!) were all super helpful and genuine. The morning shift receptionist felt fake, but she did her job, so no complaints.
There are some fun games, hammock, swing, and an outdoor fire pit. Sensorio is 10min away. Lots of restaurants in 15-20min ride. Will try horses and cooking / sommelier classes next time we visit. Highly recommend this spot! Clearly loved by its owners and staff.
One of the best omelets I've ever had. We both loved breakfast in room.
Not a bad word to be said
Really unique individual units in the middle of Cass Vineyards. Loved the architecture and style of the rooms. On top of it, you get complimentary breakfast, happy hour and wine tasting. We even rented e-bikes to tour the sprawling vineyards.
Cleanless and sense of peace
Everything, we felt we owned the winery
Great place all around , friendly staff , they go above and beyond if u need anything , more than happy to come again
We LOVE staying at Geneseo Inn. When we first started to stay here pets weren't allowed but now that dogs are allowed it gave us all the more reason to stay here. We really enjoy the location where we have a spacious hotel room with a view of the vineyard. I am tired of waking up in a hotel room with a view of busy streets or waterfront view. I'm in Paso Robles for the wineries, so what more perfect way to immerse in the experience than waking up and being able to walk onto the balcony, and have breakfast (2 included with nightly rate) while taking in the view.
The bed is very comfortable and there's a mini fridge in all of the rooms. We've stayed in 4 out of the 8(?) rooms available. Our favorite is the suite but it is understandably more expensive, it comes with almost an extra (living) room and an almost all the way around balcony with a longer dining table. At our most recent stay, we were running behind schedule and missed the happy hour. The staff was kind enough to save us some snacks and a bottle of rose to make our stay extra special. Thanks!
The two problems that I've experienced during the stay are mosquitos (I got bit so many times that I didn't sleep very well the first night), and the wifi was down for ~2 hours. I was hoping to be able to work remotely from Geneseo Inn but I had to drive to a coffee shop to finish my work for the day so that was a bummer.
I would download the Paso map on Google in advance to avoid getting lost on the way to the hotel.
Great place. Definitely will return soon.
Beautiful! Absolutely loved it!!
A little too far away from town to go anywhere for dinner
