Couldn’t fault anything here. The receptionists were courteous and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we were walking distance to the Empire Theatre. Comes with a great bar at the back and cafe for breakfast. Perfect!

When we arrived and showed our booking confirmation, we were told they didn't have that booking in their system. We booked a 3 bedroom unit for 3 couples. They wanted for put us in a room configuration that would split couples up as they no longer had the 3 bedroom available. Very disappointing as we all have young families and very rarely get time away without the children. We ended up in 2 seperate rooms so seperate from our friends.
Location.
When I originally booked I booked 2 rooms and asked for early check in due to our event starting early. One room was ready which was fantastic we all just put our stuff in the one room. I advised reception at that time that I would check into the second room later that night and confirmed checking in was open 24 hours. I checked the floor number of the second room which I was told was on level 4. When I checked into the second room after our event I was given a key to a room on level 3 after earlier being told I was on level 4 so I thought strange. When my partner and I got to the room we were booked into the disabled room. I believe our original room on level 4 was given away even though I confirmed earlier in the day I would’ve been checking in late. These rooms were booked months in advance so not a last minute request. The aircon in the other room was not working when we got back and even though staff eventually got it going it switched off all hours of the morning with the original error message. Quite disappointed with our stay and will likely not stay again.
