Royal Uzungol Hotel Spa & Restaurant

The place is clean. Rooms are a bit small. No desk or chair for work. Breakfast was basic and also there is no iron for the cloths in this hotel.

Royal Uzungöl is likely the best hotel in Uzungöl, where chalet meets the Middle East. Certain aspects of the property decor from the woodwork, the art, the natural stone on the staircase, the paintings, the seating area by the front desk, give it a lovely vibe and potential to perhaps one day be a 5 star. We appreciated the buffet breakfast, our waiter during dinner, the front desk staff and baggage handlers. However, the property has clearly aged, and we note the following shortcomings: the air conditioning in our room was non-existent and judging by one other mobile A/C unit in the hallway, we were not alone. Also there were leaks from the ceiling in two spots in the breakfast area; our bed was uncomfortable with a divide where two single beds were pushed together to make a double (one of which overhung the bed frame which was too small); the room was very small, tight for two people; and there was no notice prior to booking, on the daily gender restrictions for the pool/sauna given their focus on a devout Muslim clientele. Finally, it has to be said that while the town of Uzungöl has some breathtaking views of mountains, lake and forest, over development and poor management of the area has left it overrun with tourists and three-star hotels and restaurants, unkept streets and in places garbage in the water. As a result, its serenity and natural beauty is a fraction of its potential, and we wish we had stayed only one night.

The hotel parking is wide and easy to park

Very nice architecture, warm welcome, includes breakfast could be more rich with omelette

When we arrived we were told that the use of the pool and spa area was segregated times for men and women. We booked the hotel for these amenities so was very disappointed. It should have been highlighted on the hotel booking site.
The staff were lovely and looked after us.
The rooms were on the small side but had everything we needed.

It was awesome experience

Great hotel for our relaxing stay. All the staff were very friendly and we loved the spa. It was just what we needed after being tourists all day.

Good location

The hotel is not clean, hair is on the floor and on the bed, stained furniture, rooms are very small, bed is very small, breakfast is not great, the price is very expensive compared to the quality/condition of the hotel. It is not worth the money. Will never stay again in this hotel

Wasn’t the best stay. Honestly won’t be coming back to this accommodation. Do not recommend.

Great place for couples and short stays! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Royal Uzungöl Hotel & Spa & Restaurant 2 nights 31st Aug to 2nd September. We found the hoItel to be is very nice, rooms are clean, centrally located with free parking and non smoking rooms. Rooms are clean and staff are very nice and helpful.
