Over all experience was good. Variety of dishes were available at the restaurant. Jain foods were customised and served.
Pros:

Canopy by tree branches gives a good natural ambiance at the entrance.

Cons:

Condensation drops were falling from AC ducts. Dampness felt inside room. Some areas were smelling foul.
Contacting hotel on phone was difficult. Rarely someone answered the phone.

Pros:

The breakfast was absolutely superb! I found out that this is one of the best restaurants in Palakkad city, and the location was excellent—all the shopping centers are within walking distance of the hotel.

Comfortable stay

Had stayed at Hotel Indraprastha, English Church Road, Palakkad from 04/07/2025 to 06/07/2025 as a group of close family. The hotel is located near the Palakkad Fort. Transport facilities are easily accessible; Palakkad Junction and Palakkad Town railway stations are nearby, as is the KSRTC bus station and the Palakkad town bus station. Coimbatore Airport [the nearest] is around 2 hours by road. There is unanimous opinion that the stay was very comfortable and pleasant, and that the staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous; the hospitality by the hostess made it memorable. The restaurant in the lobby has a good menu. Overall a satisfactory experience. Will recommend the hotel to others.

Pros:

The food a the restaurant was good.

Mr. Swaminathan at the front office Desk was very helpful to address the challenges.

Cons:

Had a challenge with the bedsheets, were not completely dry, being monsoon, which means the property has to work on Laundry Drying mechanism. The housekeeping staff tried their best though.

A Rocky Start, but a Better Ending.

Cons:

The first room we received had a non-functioning AC, which made it difficult to stay comfortable in the heat of Palakkad. After driving all night without rest and reaching at 5 AM for an official meeting, I was exhausted. My husband and children, too, struggled to rest in the room due to the heat, leading to a bit of frustration. Thankfully, we were given another room, which was much better. However, by then, the few hours I had to sleep felt restless.
