Lovely friendly stay. Food excellent
Pros:

All the staff made us feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere in the bar area. Food great - we had dinner and the breakfast was yum.
The room was clean and spacious - brew facilities.
Short scenic walk to shops and bars. Dog bed provided.
Really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Bathroom needs a refurb.

Lovely, clean comfortable, ideal location find
Pros:

Have stayed here before, ideal location for Settle Victoria Hall… Clean, comfortable, friendly staff.. Complimentary items in fridge on corridor a nice touch.. Although the room is a little dated & tired, it’s very homely.. Breakfast was good Won’t hesitate to stay again

Cons:

The room wasn’t checked after our first night, the drinks weren’t replenished & the bin wasn’t emptied.. Only a minor issue as we always make our beds & leave it tidy

Beautiful, clean, feel good hotel - and dog friendly!
Pros:

Big, comfy spacious rooms, 2 dog beds with a goody bag laid out for both dogs, everything was clean, food was to die for, lovely staff, great location - everything was great! The free bottled water was also a lovely touch (from someone who struggles with tap water). Incredible hotel.

Spacious room, friendly staff and a great pub. Definitely recommend staying here.
Pros:

The room and bathroom was spacious. Quiet too. Beds comfy, I slept well. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Having milk and juice available in a fridge near the room was handy. Lovely evening meal. A ten minute walk into Settle.

Cons:

Just a few little things which weren’t a big issue at all. Bathroom was a bit tired. Wardrobes needed straightening up.

Beautiful country pub in a beautiful location. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Just stayed the one night, wish we could have stayed longer. Will go back.

Pros:

Excellent location. Very helpful, friendly staff. Good facilities. Great breakfast choices and excellent food available in the evening.

Cons:

The dog friendly room that we had did not have any windows so it was a little stuffy during the night. This meant that our sleep was disrupted slightly but it wouldn't put us off staying there again.

lovely stay in a quaint village
Pros:

lovely place to stay in a quiet little village plenty of parking food lovely staff very friendly had a lovely room with our own fridge with complimentary water juice and milk very dog friendly and plenty of public footpaths to walk the dog the school playing fields gives the dog a nice walk even has a stream running through it and if you go left at the church there is another bridle path that takes you to a park where you can let dog off the lead you also get a dog bed provided and a complimentary doggie treat bag looking forward to a return stay soon
