Great night's stay
Pros:

The staff were all brilliant and the food superb. The communal fridge with water milk and juice was a nice surprise. The room was a fair size for a single, and had a pleasant view out over Giggleswick.

Good food and friendly staff. The room is lovely.
Pros:

The free breakfast was very good. They provided both cooked and continental breakfast.

Cons:

The bathroom had a slight sewage smell when we first arrived. We opened the window and it was fine after that.

Another lovely stay.
Pros:

Second stay here. Had dinner in the restaurant, excellent. Room was great and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Good shower, comfy bed and plenty of room. Breakfast was very good. The staff here are wonderful. Good pint of Landlord at the bar.

Cons:

I didn't like having to go through bar when we arrived that's just me we were very tired and I don't like pubs much.

Great country pub feel to the place with plenty of walks around the hotel itself with Settle town centre in walking dist
Pros:

Property was well maintained and cosy just as we like, log fire was put on during the afternoon and a few locals frequented the bar. Breakfast was included and there were a nice choice if you didn’t go for the full English. After going out on the many walks around the area and a walk around Settle, we came back and chose to eat our evening meal at the hotel and again not disappointed by the menu and the quality of the food (really nice). Room had plenty of space and en-suite, bed comfy, we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Nothing to report on the property itself, everything was catered for.

Lovely hotel, staff and location, would not hesitate in recommending it and will stay again
Pros:

The breakfast choice was good and tasty, but quality of toast let it down, we did have both brown and white.
The room was lovely, very clean, lovely views out the window. Soft mattress but was a very comfortable bed and we both slept well.
We had a meal in the bar on arrival, was very nice and well presented.

Cons:

Only thing we felt that let it down was very thin tasteless toast. Expected it to have been as good as all the other food.
Shower was a little temperamental but managed it in the end!

There are 2 renovated rooms that are fabulous. Mother in law stayed in one ☺️

Perfect for one night away and we felt very welcome.
Pros:

Beautiful building, really lovely, helpful and welcoming staff.
Room was great value, a bit dated & nothing fancy but what we needed for a night.
Breakfast was absolutely lovely.
If we come to Yorkshire for another fleeting visit we would definitely stay again.
