Hawthorne's Best Inn

Generally clean and spacious room.

Without realizing it, we left a very important item. Sarah called us the next day and is shipping it to our home. How great of them!! Plus, Hawthorne was clean and quiet.

They had breakfast? I didn't know

It was safe and clean. A nice oasis it the desert.

Easy parking, clean property, friendly staff, spacious comfortable room. Appreciated the in room fridge.

The room was older but had all the amenities a person needs. The staff was helpful and nice to talk to.

I began staying at Hawthorne’s Best Inn a few years ago when I had a work assignment in Hawthorne. Initially I was staying at the Travelodge, but their Wi-Fi is marginal at best, often had to stand in the parking lot or work in the parking lot or front office to connect (which isn’t acceptable when you’re dealing with confidential data).

By chance, the Travelodge was full and I skeptically booked at room at Hawthorne’s Best and was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are clean and spacious, Wi-Fi works well in every room I’ve stayed in and I always enjoyed talking with the owner and staff. Sadly, owner Jack just passed away (early March, 2026) but the family took great care to make sure everything is still up to standard.

Hint - they also own the Monarch Motel across the street and it lives up to the same standards.

My husband is disabled and I requested a 1st floor if possible. The front desk person was very helpful in giving us that!

This is a very clean, 1950s (I believe) construction where you pull up in front of where you will stay. So many of these older hotels are showing their age, but not Hawthorne’s Best Inn. The owners have taken care of this property and their love for it shows . At night the lighting outside was lovely , and the little touches like flower boxes made it feel super welcoming . The room itself was very clean, my husband and sons all slept wonderfully soundly , when typically they struggle anywhere , but home to rest . The room itself was well equipped with soaps, shower cap, shampoo , etc . I travel almost weekly for about 4 months of the year and have stayed in several places as a result and I have to admit , although not fancy, it certainly is a nice place to stay. If you are looking for value, comfort and cleanliness , then the Hawthorne Best is the place for you. The lady checking us in went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice , restful night . Our youngest has autism and she made sure we had no one above us or next to us, because he struggles to sleep when he can hear others . I didn’t “ask” for this “accommodation “ she just spotted it as a way to make his night better and I am so very thankful for that .

It was very clean and very quiet! Just stayed one night but the place was immaculate and the staff was beyond friendly. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was amazing. The perfect set up for a great nights sleep after all day n the car.

Easy to access off 95 South. Nice sized parking lot as I was driving a large van.
