Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The staff did everything they could do to make us feel at home. Brittany went above and beyond at Breakfast to make sure we got everything we wanted. The room was great, bed was comfortable, the conference room was awesome, and the staff made us feel like we were at home.

Great atmosphere and the best customer service I have ever experienced!! Tsianna is the best front desk manager and should get a raise and promotion!!

Savannah was incredible in the Market! I was honestly having a horrible day but she legitimately made it better.

Unfortunately, the stay was not great. There are simple things that as a Globalist and always choosing Hyatt that I believe are the bare minimum. 1. Water at check-in 2. Decent breakfast. Both of these were failures during my stay. I felt extremely bad for the server as she was completely solo with over ten tables. The food at the buffet was cold and had not been refreshed, so naturally ordering from the grill along with coffees/drinks was still needed. She did amazing and I left her a great tip, it was not her fault. 9AM on a Saturday, the hotel needs to do better.

I spent the day at the hotel's pool and had a wonderful experience. The pool area was clean, relaxing, and very well maintained. A special thank you to Joshua, our bartender, who was incredibly attentive throughout the day. He checked on our group frequently to make sure we had water, drinks, and food, and his friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. Sean, the other bartender, was also very professional and attentive.

I had a great experience at the Hyatt Regency in Frisco during my time using the Resort pass!! The bartenders were great!! Sean and Joshua really made sure our experience was awesome!!

We stayed one night for a staycation. Parking was easy. The front desk personnel were very nice. Our room was clean and updated. The property generally was in great shape and clean. The pool area was nice. This was a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel hot water was not working for the 2 nights. When you turned the knob to hot water the pipes in the wall rattled so hard it felt like it would break. Bed felt like an air mattress (not sure if it was).

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and the maintenance issues that were a minor annoyance during my first stay, were significantly worse this second time.

This includes the light strip in the open closet making a disruptive noise when on, and this noise lingering intermittently for over an hour after it was turned off.

Also the hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best, and the shower wall would vibrate and make a noise when you tried to turn the handle towards “Hot”.

And to top this all off, late in the afternoon during my final day, we got a letter under our doors that there would be a total water shutoff overnight, which is a problem when you are trying to get ready for a 5:00 a.m. flight.

The location is the best part of this hotel… right near the mall and centrally located among many Frisco/Plano shops/restaurants.

However with several other hotel options in this area, you can still get this location benefit while not dealing with a relatively new hotel experiencing an apparent myriad of increasing maintenance issues.

Location is very good, next to a mall. Hotel is new - neat and clean. But the shower had no hot water and the coffee machine was broken.

The hotel experience was better than expected overall. It is one of the newer and higher quality HR’s that we’ve been to. The hotel is right next to the Stonebrier mall which is convenient. There were no real negatives that came sometimes come from being that close to shopping. Plenty of free parking onsite. The rooms were spacious and modern with just enough elegance to feel slightly elevated. The kids enjoyed the pool which was a good size. It would have been nice to have a hot tub, but not a deal breaker. The gym was larger and well equipped. Booked with points so didn’t have to pay destination fee which is new for 2026. The free parking essentially offsets the destination charge if you had to pay. Helpful staff overall, especially the lady that was stocking the towels at the pool. The HR is hard to beat if you are staying in the area.
