Hotel Trierer Hof

Couldn't travel because of illness, so asked the hotel to send me an email confirming we didn't stay. No response to emails, it's been 8 days now. This may affect my travel insurance claim, costing me 175 euro.

We came at 14.55 but had to wait because they were cleaning our rooms. Hotel was absolutly not fully booked but they just wanted to let us wait!!!
First contact at the hotel said we could have breakfast next day from 07.00. Then they changed it to 08.00, due to hollyday, wich we can understand.
There was NO possibility to have like a appel, Coffee and one sandwich the next day. That is also fine.

So we wanted to pay for the room excluding breakfast. That was NOT possible.

Not one second could they find a solution to give some service to us in this matter.
Wich should be some breakfast service (Coffee, one sandwich and a bottle of water or to reduce the price.
WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

The front desk did a good job in getting us checked in and issuing a card to use when leaving the parking garage. It was two blocks away. The place to drop the card when leaving was at the top of the ramp when leaving the parking garage. There was construction going on near the Hotel. Breakfast was included and very good. Wacht am Rhein was a nice restaurant along the river with nice detailing inside and the sky glide cable cars to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress gave beautiful views of Koblenz far below.

Varmt rum, ingen aircondition. Går ej att ha fönstren öppna nattetid pga byggnadsställningar och tak från huset intill.

The hotel is very well located.
The breakfast was good.
The interior of the hotel is very modest and unimpressive. There is construction at a building attached to the hotel. Our room didn’t have any view and faces a walls that was under construction.

Great location close to the Rhein and the Mosel. Good restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. It's not super-modern but clean and comfortable

A lovely hotel in the old town of Koblenz with a 5 minute walk to the Rhein.
Absolute highlight is the breakfast - Euro 10,00 if not included in the price - which is a superb buffet with excellent profesional service. Rooms totally adequate for a city visit and in our room a shower with the most power water pressure I have experienced in a very long time.
Hotel recently bought by a group of young men, 1 of which is from Hamburg and was on reception, with a professional friendly service equal to any top far more expesnive hotel.
P.S. The image is not the entrance to the hotel but rather a restaurant on the ground floor, although the upper windows do belong to the hotel ... dont let that influence you though as the hotel is worth staying in and I mention it just so you dont also get a shock.

A comfortable hotel, friendly staff and a good choice at buffet breakfast. An ideal stay in Koblenz. Happy to book again in the future

excellent customer service, especially at breakfast where the staff learnt our needs and provided without prompt. Felt like they cared about every detail. Range of food and drinks available at breakfast was perfect. Room was spacious and clean and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Leider hatte das Zimmer schräge Wände. Also unter dem Dach. Der Zimmerpreis war für dieses Zimmer zu teuer.

Personal war freundlich und nett.

Das Frühstück Buffet war super eine große Auswahl. Der Empfang war super zuvorkommend.
Ich hatte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof leider war ein durchgängiges Brummen zu hören.

Gammalt sunkigt hotell, möjligtvis bra läge. Personalen kan jobba på att vara lite trevligare. Vi bad om att få in ett litet bord på rummet, men inte då.

Hotellet er ældre, men rent og pænt, servicen er i top, man gør alt for at gæsterne skal føle sig godt tilpas.
Morgenmaden er dejlig med friske opfyldninger løbende.
Beliggenheden er super i forhold til parkering, byen og sevæedigheder

Rigtig rar stemning i dette ældre byhotel. Super morgenmad. Meget venligt og nærværende værtspar.

Our room was well located in the hotel, just along the hall from the breakfast room. The room somewhat small but was provided with a wardrobe and a desk, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was very tiny, just enough room to turn around, but the shower had plenty of hot water and soap, shampoo etc was provided.
The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from Koblenz Stadmitte rail station, and is just a few minutes walk to the Altstadt.
