Affordable, clean, great location and staff.
Pros:

Third year in a row with my son so we could hit Cedar Point. This hotel is clean, staff are excellent and friendly as well as generous. The hotel room is spacious and roomy. Bfast is great. Thank you so much!!!

Nothing special…..clean/convenient.
Pros:

Its proximity to Cedarpoint.

Cons:

The sheets had so much pilling they felt like there was sand in the bed. Also, there is no coffee machine in the room. That’s a big deal to me.

Overrated for a Hilton
Cons:

Rooms to small for the price, I had a request and for 1st floor due to me being disabled and all the rooms be together but it was not honored even though I had confirmation. There was no tub just shower. Breakfast food was always cold.

Price was great! Staff VERY welcoming and attentive. Very clean loved the breakfast included. First time and won’t be my last I loved it here

Not a fan of checking in at 4pm would be nice to check in much real but other than that I LOVEDDDDD my visit

Disappointing stay
Pros:

The hotel was dirty. There was some sort of slim on the shampoo and body wash dispensers. There were small piles of dirt/hair in the corners and under the beds. The lobby was also dirty. Outside the doors, it was a constant smell of smoke, both tobacco and marijuana.
The rooms are also small. Two adults and a pre-teen barely had room to move around. We won’t be staying in a Tru by Hilton if we have any other options.
There was at least one teenage boys basketball team staying in our floor. They enjoyed wrestling in the hallway, running between rooms and just generally being loud in the hallway. When it didn’t stop by 11pm, I chatted with the front desk with the chat feature and he came up to talk to them. It helped for about 30-45 minutes. If you are letting young kids stay in rooms by themselves, the hotel needs to know who the overall chaperone is.
