Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South, NV

Located near a quiet, established residential neighborhood just a block from a large outlet mall, this hotel feels incredibly fresh. In fact, our room was in a brand-new wing added just this past February. Our two-queen room was spacious and modern, providing our family of three plenty of space to stretch out, even with all our luggage. By the way, the desk clerk allowed us to check in early at noon instead of the normal 3 pm check in which was nice.

​The amenities were excellent across the board:

​The Room: The bathroom was large with a great walk-in shower, steady water pressure, and quick hot water.

​Connectivity & Parking: Wi-Fi was reliable at 10 Mbps, and there was ample free parking available.

​Breakfast: Served starting at 6:00 AM in a large seating area, the complimentary spread was very nice. It featured high-quality scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and a self-serve waffle station. They also had cold cerealo, strawberry yogurt, and miscellaneous fruits available.

​The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants within a short walk or drive. We enjoyed a perfectly quiet two-night stay—even on New Year’s Eve! I would definitely choose to stay here again when in the area.

Pleasantly surprised. Quieter than I thought given it's proximity to the airport. Large, clean rooms. One of the best (free) breakfasts I've ever had.

I first stayed in a Hampton inn during a 2015 trip from California to Virginia . I liked the fact that no matter where the hotel was located each was consistent with the service provided. They were always clean and comfortable. I also liked that there is a laundry room in each one.

When other guests at breakfast (strangers to you) randomly tell you how much they love this hotel... "this is my go-to hotel when I come to Vegas"... and they mention staff members by name, you know you're in a great spot. If you're lucky enough to meet Andrea, you will immediately understand why she not only was nominated, but recently won Manager of the Year. Rosie in the breakfast area is just a sweet human being. Christina in housekeeping will greet you with a genuine smile. You stay here and leave feeling like you spent the night with family members... the ones you LIKE to spend time with anyway. The location is hard to beat too. They offer free 24-hour shuttle service to/from the airport which is only 5-10 minutes away. Our driver, Dave added to our great experience in Las Vegas. So friendly and just wants to make sure you enjoy your time here. Top notch service. THIS is how it should be done everywhere. You won't stay at a better Hampton Inn than this one.

Great stay! Close to the main area of the strip but far enough away to avoid traffic, resort fees, etc. Property was safe but at the tail end of where you see quit a bit of homeless people. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed one night in this average hotel. The advantage is that it is close to the airport, without causing (noise) disturbance, and to the main roads. The room and (relatively modern) bathroom were very spacious and clean. The large bed was very comfortable. We liked the area around the hotel less. But that’s not what we came for.

Excellent location with easy on off of 15, one exit to Mandalay Bay parking for sports events Large room with pull out sofa bed. Large TV with adequate channels and ability to sign into NETFLIX or YOU TUBE. The sheets were thin and substandard. Towels adequate. The breakfast was ok. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs from a can, bacon. choice of 2 cereals with 2% milk only. The facility is brand new, carpets are clean and fresh, walk-in shower. Plenty of close by places to eat or drink. I’ll stay there again.
