Location was excellent, staff were amazing & rooms were so comfortable.
It was tricky to find, but once we realized it was in the middle of everything in Windsor, we were happy.
The hotel was easy to find, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was pleasant.
There was no food offered at any time. You could not access the hotel by car, including taxi (we had a rental car). The nearest parking lot was at least 0.5 miles away and it was not obvious how to get to the hotel from there. Non of this was on either the hotel or booking.coms website. we were in the midst of a very long trip with significant luggage. Once we hauled it to the hotel we also had to find a way to get it up several flights of stairs to our rooms.

No fridge in room and no on site staff and I did ask for a quiet room as well which was acted on though it didn’t take into ether outside clubs.

Location comfort space
The Goswell was situated in the heart of Windsor, close to the Castle & surrounded by great shopping, restaurants & bars. The rooms were very comfortable & well maintained. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved our 3 night stay!!
It was a little tricky to find & to be dropped off close by, but we figured it out (even with lots of luggage), stairs, no lifts, but big open space stairways.
The location was amazing. Just steps from Windsor Castle. We were only there one night but I wish we had more time to enjoy this place. It was quite large compared to other places we stayed at around London and Europe. It was perfect for what we needed.

Didn’t do breakfast as no eating areas available although basic non cooked breakfast available on request.
Location was very central so able to walk around destinations easily but too close to nightclubs but noise wasn’t as bad as expected.

There wasn’t much to dislike. As with other Windsor hotels we’ve stayed in with a similar budget, there is room for some updating.

Room decor was very nice and bed very comfy
Bathroom very dirty, had hair shavings all over the floor and bedroom was very dusty. Safe wasn’t working and beeped all through the night.
