The decor of the building and the rooms are modern. Also, the beds are comfortable.
There was a staff member, a receptionist, that was rude and unprofessional. I think you know who she is. She needs training up or out. Also, the hotel is a party location, not suited for families.
The room was clean
The bed was too close to the curtains. I don't like how Booking.com didn't communicate or at least state that it was more of a business hotel and not a family hotel. My 13-year-old son had nowhere to sleep, and I had indicated that there would be four adults and one 13-year-old child. The hotel did not try to accommodate us because they couldn't; they said it was a fire hazard. The only thing we could do was get another room, and I was not doing that because it was $175 per day, and our stay was already $1,082. I also don't like how they told me at the beginning of our stay that it would only be $70 one time unless we moved the car each day. They said they would charge us $70 a day if we decided to move the car, and I questioned it three to five times, and he said yes, only if we move the car. And he was telling the truth because they actually tried to charge my car for that one day, and then here comes the other man during checkout telling me I have to pay $210. SMDH!
Location was great, the room was nice
Muito boa localização. Hotel limpo, bonita decoração. Vista incrível do quarto.
Great, strategic location for visiting Washington D.C.
Booking.com allowed us to book a single room for 5 people, but upon arrival, we only found two queen beds for 4 people in total and three shower towels. When we asked for an extra bed, the staff told us we had to book an entirely separate room. Why allow guests to book a room for 5 if the property cannot actually accommodate them comfortably?
Everything overall was welcoming I enjoyed every minute
It was a great location! We loved our room! it was super clean, modern, and very comfortable!
The only thing I didn’t like was the parking fee for valet parking — it was $70 per night.
The AC hotel was very convenient for the weekend. It is a 10 minutes drive from Union Station and a nice distance from downtown DC’s nightlife. I enjoyed the City View of my hotel room and how accommodating the manager, Daniela, was during my stay.
Because the property is a nice distance from downtown, it created the perfect mix of drama. The rooftop restaurant is a nice touch but there was a particular security guard that was rude during dialogue about access to the roof. My first night consisted of witnessing a man blocking/ preventing people from using the elevator because he lost it at the rooftop lounge. It was obnoxious and left a really bad taste in my mouth. He was very aggressive and because I was so close in proximity to him, literally dodging him from elevator to elevator, I didn’t feel as comfortable as I would’ve liked for the entire stay. My last day, during check out, I had a very nasty encounter with an individual behind the counter, I spent my money at the hotel and she could have respected that simple fact, instead she threatened to charge me more money over a simple misunderstanding. As a consumer and a service provider, that woman should not be working in the service industry, you want people to feel good spending their money before and after. Her tone again, was very aggressive and rude. The iron in the room didn’t work and the phone in the halls way for room service didn’t work either.
The bar upstairs was amazing, felt very safe and the room was very clean!
The bathroom door in our room sometimes didn’t close correctly, not ideal when sharing a room
