Good hotel, terrible staffs
Pros:

Location is very convenient and room is nice

Cons:

Staffs were rude and unhelpful and lack of compassion. My son was sick and he vomited at the room and front desk person just came to our room at 10pm demanding us pay the hotel 30k yen for dirtying the duvet. I understand where this is coming from but lack of compassion definitely made our experience bad

Perfect location and large room for families
Pros:

Large rooms with amenities filled everyday. Drinks are free of charge with wide range of options. Perfect location right beside the train station, bus terminal to Kamikochi and a few minutes to old town and restaurants by foot.

Cons:

Too few parking spaces which is understandable because it’s right next to the bus terminal. Staffs were a bit too overwhelmed. Lift is very small for a 10-storey building.

Nuitée de passage à Takayama, super ballades nocturne et matinale
Pros:

Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable et les équipements particulièrement complets.
La gare à côté est pratique et pas gênante.

Cons:

L’entrée à l’étage fait un peu prison mais dès à l’intérieur de ce qui est en fait un appartement, on oubli tout.
La vue est mieux aux étages supérieurs mais le rapport qualité prix pardonne presque tout.

Hotel with kitchenette in very good location
Pros:

Easy access to the hotel from the train station, and all of the main areas of Takayama were within easy walking distance. There is no breakfast/restaurant, but a couple of food marts within a very short walking distance. Kitchenette and supplies, so eating in is a good option. The washing machine was great for us at that moment in our trip.

A very comfortable and stress free stay.
Pros:

Easy check-in and out, in room washer/dryer, excellent location and good sized room. A really nice touch was when we did not want our room cleaned and housekeeping hung a bag with water bottles and a few other items on our door. 😀👍
