TownePlace Suites by Marriott Amarillo West/Medical Center

I stayed here with my puppies during our 2 day road trip! Beautiful new hotel that is very pet friendly with nice grassy area to walk puppies. Very clean hotel with nice kitchenette. Jenna at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend staying here if you are passing through Amarillo TX!

Our room was very nice and comfortable! Breakfast was very good with many options. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

AWESOME room - 1 bedroom suite, 1 queen, sofa bed. Clean, nice, LOVE 2nd comforter, full kitchen, lots of space - could LIVE here! Nice layout to room and bathroom. Only negative - PERILOUS parking lot/drive in has LARGE potholes, staff not totally happy, and welcome gift a bit lack luster. But, full size fridge, kitchen, living space, AWESOME. No noise issues, very good night's sleep!! GREAT value, will definitely recommend and definitely will stay here again!

We arrived late and exhausted. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

My room had a peculiar odor and made it hard for me to sleep

I was pleasantly surprised by Townplace. I am usually a Hilton gal, but I had my 90-year-old father with me, and we needed a place with a refrigerator and a proper chair, not a desk chair. I was scared when we first pulled in, as the Motel 6 clients were sketchy. The Motel 6 is next door and shares a parking lot. It also has an odd "front" door. However, once inside, I felt better. Michelle was the woman who checked us in and was super friendly and bubbly. We had been in the car for 12 hours, and it was nice to have someone so outgoing. Once in the room, it was clean and the kitchen area was way more than we needed for a night. The hallways are wide and bright. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed the products provided. The AC kept the room comfortable. The queen beds had four pillows and were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had warm items, and the staff were friendly as well. I wish I had more time to use the gym or pool, but both looked clean. The parking lot was bright, and I was told they do have security at night to watch. We had a ton of stuff in our car and didn't want to unpack it all. The front desk area also has a small shop with drinks, snacks, and some frozen foods. On the other side is an old Hampton Inn. They have rebranded it as Spark by Hilton, and I still stayed at the Marriott. Overall, it was a pleasant night. I will keep Towneplace on my radar moving forward.

Staff over sprays elevators and eating area and foyer. Was trying to take elevator and they sprayed both elevators at 9am with a cleaning bottle that pretty much you couldn’t enter for twenty min. The hotel smells like toxic cleaner. Limited English speaking staff only the fro t desk person could talk to.

Room was spacious & well equipped with necessary cooking supplies. Did NOT have walk-in shower. Tubs are safety hazard.

Booked this reservation on a road trip with my family. At 11 pm got a message saying they have no rooms and had no way of contacting me (despite providing my phone number). When we went there they said they had a room and upon unloading all of our baggage the room had mattresses up against the wall, without sheets, incredibly filthy. Not to mention we a

I wasnt expecting this hotel to be as fancy as it was. Whenever it showed that they had suites i wasnt expecting a studio style room with a beautiful shower and spacious layout, but i was pleasantly surprised. They also had a pool and workout room on location.

Great stay for one day!

Charged twice for one night stay.

Hotel rooms are so well-equipped! Great for extended stays. Room has a near full-size refrigerator, microwave, “kitchen sink” and even a dishwasher! Bathroom shower was a beautiful large walk-in shower design. We will choose this hotel again when in Amarillo!

Be careful on arrival - 3 different hotels are all clustered together, and it’s difficult to tell which is which. The signage could be better, especially since it is offset back from the main road.
