We had 4 studio apartments - there is a HUGE difference between studio apartment and a single bedroom apartment. The studio is tiny, cannot properly fit 2 large suitcases in it.

Let's talk about the studio apartment I was staying in.
It was tiny, the aircondition was not working well. Even on the lowest setting the room was still not cool.
The water cooler inside the room only gave warm water.
The mattress was extremely noisy, just by moving a little bit the mattress would squeak. Horrible.

I'm confused about the 5 star rating. There was nothing 5 star about the hotel? Must be a different rating scale for apartment hotels. No towels provided at the gym. No towels provided by the poolside. Very little room services.

Overall very disappointing and not worth the money.

The view from our bedroom is fabulous, river and green trees, you would never know the hotel is in the middle of the city. The landscaping is lush, pool is inviting.

The dryer in the room does not dry properly which is disappointing. The room is rather small.

Clean, Customer service response time is good, clean swimming pool and close to PIK for dining.

All in all good. Breakfast quality can be improved. Staff service and some contents feel cheap

Property strategically located around PIK new development, hi-end area. Property needs to have more discipline and touches on how to deliver constant quality of guest service. First, guest shouldn’t be ignored. Second, amenities in each type of room should be the evenly distributed. Third, a slightly higher hygienic standard needed for the breakfast place

Following my doctor’s suggestion that a vacation was in order for me I decided to take a trip to Indonesia. It was my good fortune to stay at the Oakwood Apartments in Jakarta at at Caribbean Tower. The price was attractive, with a continental breakfast buffet included and the balcony view of the pool was most impressive. The King size bed was meant for a king with the softest down pillows I have ever slept with.

The room I stayed in was exceptionally modern with all appliances included to make one’s stay as convenient as possible. There was the usual kitchen items such as sink, stove, microwave, and an ample supply of dishes and utilities but it was quite a surprise to find a brand new washing machine, a safe and iron board, hair dryer, electric iron and modern LED lights within the unit.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, the lobby distinguished itself by being ultra modern with an elaborate supply of glass exterior walls and doors inside and outside and austere decorations to match. The elevators were super efficient and quick and the facilites were super clean.

There is a restaurant on the premises as well as a family convenience store, indoor pool, outdoor pool, fitness center and a children’s play area. The spacious grounds were well manicured with the grandest collection of Indonesian plants, flowers and trees. Throughout the day you can see employees cleaning the premises, giving you the assurance that your health and well being was most important to management.

Overall stay was amazing. Only when checking out, I forgot to bring 1 of the card key (total there're 3 cards key). My wife left it on the wall socket without telling me before. The concierge tried to charge me Rp.100.000 for that card key. Who wants to bring home that dull looking key?

TVs in the unit automatically turned off every hour. Shower components broke off or weren't working properly. This wasn't a hotel it was a short term apartment. Wish we knew before we stayed. Very different and dissapointing than our other stays at other Oakwood properties.

it would be great if during the pandemic, the hotel can provide cleaning equipment such as dry/wet mop for its extended / long stay guest.

This is a very nice, clean, pretty property to stay at. They have great wifi, and everything you need on property.
